I was truly looking forward to receiving this product because I used it as a child growing up in England, so it brought back fond memories. I was pleased that it arrived on time, which was a relief. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the packaging. The glass bottle arrived in a large brown Amazon envelope with only a thin layer of dirty bubble wrap for protection. As a result, the bottle arrived broken. I cannot understand why a glass bottle of malt extract would be shipped in an envelope rather than a properly padded box. More care should have been taken to protect such a fragile item.

The shipment was correct and timely.

Good strong malt, ideal for British malt loaf, which is why i wanted it. Lasts a long time, and needs to be kept in a cool place, but I would recommend it for baking.

I bought this malt extract because I wanted a comforting bedtime drink ,I like Horlicks and ovaltine but am too aware of the high sugar content. So I thought ide give this a try . Omg it did not disappoint at all. It is absolutely delicious I could've had several mugs if my stomache could stretch to it . Very soon after drinking it I felt very warm and relaxed and content, then after half an hour had to lie down and seriously could have dropped off . It was only 5pm on a Sunday so too much still to do ,had to force myself up and make myself busy . Went to bed at 7.30 and was out like a light . Had a much needed relaxed sleep . So impressed and shocked tbh . Didn't think such a lovely drink could really help so much . Highly recommend x

It used to be that I could find malt syrup in the grocery store and I absolutely loved in a chocolate shake at Dairy Queen until they stopped offering it! So when I saw that I could order it online I jumped at it!… My delivery had only one problem and that was leakage during shipping and considering it has come to Ontario Canada from the UK it’s a good thing it’s so thick! They did put tape on the lid to address this problem but this particular lid was not screwed tight beforehand and I lost a couple ounces within the packaging. But, no worries! I tastes great as I’d hoped and aside from this one minor malfunction, I will be re-ordering when this delivery has be used up,,, which won’t be long!!…

Great product rubbish packing by Amazon. Four heavy jars in a big box. Each jar in bubble wrap envelope but just a tiny bit of scrunched up paper to stop them moving. The jars are like concrete but the metal lids had been bashed so that the contents leaked; I had to wash the jars before opening and because of the buckled lids I get sticky hands every time I open the jars. Potter's product as good as ever. Amazon's packing continues to get worse.

I'd love it and it arrived earlier as I expected
