I got her the Latchkits rainbow and I got this wolf kit for myself. The canvas is very nice, with the complete edging and backing. It comes in a nice folder type of container with a snap closure...very nice way to store it even when you are finished. I love everything about it except the tool. The tool is thin and very cheap. Unfortunately between the hook and the dangle part where you wrap the yarn over, the tool is rough and the canvas and yarn both have caught on it and has snared me more than a handful of times. Since it has been years since I've done this I don't have any extra tools laying around to replace so I'm going to buy another one to continue. The package said that it would include so many packs of each color, but one of the colors was 2 packs short. This didn't matter to me, as a beginner, as I just improvised, but it may to someone more experienced.
