They may be a bit more difficult for some to swallow but they do have a light glaze so I have no issue. I take one each morning after breakfast and like that they have the Rosehips added in. They are extended release so I don't feel that the nutrients will be wasted and overall be more effective. I have taken the 1000 mg dose for years and chalk it up to keeping me well year round.
