As a result, the impeller was making an INCESSANT rattling sound when running. This kit contained all the parts to restore the filter unit to perfect, silent operation. It took all of 5 minutes. I really like products that work well, are easy to install, and improve not only my quality of life, but that of my pets (in this case my fish) as well. This kit is all that.
