There are other system requirements such as a 500W power supply and if the ASUS HD6450 is used as a primary or secondary GPU. The box does NOT have the AMD Crossfire Technology logo label. **Q: Will this work in a dell optiplex 760 mini tower with PCI E 16x? it has a HD 3450 in it right now** A: I see no reason why it should not. I think it is the version number of the PCI-E slot that concerns you but it need not. I bought this card to update an older video card very much like the one you have, the 3450. It when right in and works just fine. My system is not a Dell but I have done video card updates on a couple of Dells and have never had a problem with comparability - a 16 bit card will fit in a PCI-E 16 slot. **Q: does it include a low profile bracket?** A: NO, I purchased a low profile bracket set elsewhere on Amazon and drilled a hole in it to use the fastener near the HDMI port. I used the full size bracket as a template. (overlay the connector positions and mark the hole, use a drill press and the proper drill bit...) It works in my low profile htpc mATX case. I had to change out the plates to the low profile option and it was easy to do. I went and installed the latest driver from AMD as the asus driver seemed to be old, over one year. It took it with no problems, I connected it via vga so I could use my existing cable until I can get an hdmi. I was very pleased with the install and setup of the card. It was clear cut install, no problems. I simply went into my bios and set the graphics to auto and it switched to the card with no issues and then the desktop came up and I was off to the races. I like the fact that this card has 2 gigs of ram and is low profile compatible. My computer is working much better and faster, even though it is an older model. For the games and such that I do, it is working great. This card is passively cooled meaning no fan, so its silent and doesn't require an extra heavy duty power supply with special power supply connectors to power it. It gets all the power it needs from the bus slot. Has three output connectors, DVI, HDMI and VGA but the HDMI is best, then DVI and finally VGA for the best image quality. The output ports are mated to a Faraday style cage to reduce RF interference and cross talk from adjacent ports. The image is very stable and clear. The chipset is an AMD, drivers and Catalyst software for advanced tweaking are available on a CD that comes with the card, but if you need support for the XP operating system you ahve to download the drivers and Catalyst software from the ASUS website. This is not a gamers card, but it does have 2 GB of onboard memory, which is not available for the same chipset on competitors video cards based on the same chipset.. so the Asus HD6450 has an advantage. Overall its very good if you want HDMI and occasionally need to run XP with other Windows in dual boot mode. Linux includes support for it as well.. so it covers a lot of operating systems. Its a fairly old design these days, but the best passive card released just as HDMI became available for XP before that went out of support.
