Why are they not suitable for climbing ? if they are rated at rated at 12kn ?

Seriously, if you are asking this question you shouldn't be rock climbing as you're a danger to yourself and others. If you want to climb get the proper equipment from a shop that knows what's required. Yes you will pay daft money, but guess what we only get one life to play in, so make the most of it.

What is the diameter of the carabiner?

I’m not sure what you mean by diameter because it’s not round. It is 80mm long and 50mm wide at its widest point. The opening is 25mm and when the spring is fully pushed back the measurement between the spring and the end of the ‘hook’ is 20mm.

No no no no. This CANNOT be used for climbing. Please get proper climbing carabiner clips for climbing these are not graded for such activity. For your own safety as well as others.

Any good for securing my heavy bag? Not too sure about the gate considering thr bag will be moving lot

It should be good enough to attach your heavy bag. The wiregate is securely closed. It can only be opened with certain pressue from one direction.
