The Ruger Mark I, II, and III .22LR pistols are classics. They shoot great, are accurate, and are a pleasure to shoot. They are also renowned for being somewhat challenging to field strip for cleaning. This "pistol pal" tool is great for helping the disassembly process. The blunt end is perfect for pounding out the bolt stop pin without nicking it. The metal loop on the opposite end is perfect for pulling out the main spring assembly. Unscrew the back and you have a tool to remove the extractor of the Mark III or a 10/22. This is a great tool. I always use this tool for field stripping my many Mark pistols for cleaning. Believe me, if you are a Mark pistol shooter, you are going to want and appreciate this tool. Highly recommended. RJB.

Excellent tool for Ruger Mark I, II, or III pistols. I bought this to remove the extractor without scratching the bolt. It works great for that. The stainless steel loop wire work very well to remove the mainspring assembly. You can use the tool to tap out the mainspring housing, however the body of the tool is plastic so be careful.

Purpose driven tool design to combat a company that refuses to admit it's pistol design is lacking in several areas.

Must have if you own a Ruger MKI, MKII or MKIII. Has tools to pull the mainspring latch, a punch for the bolt stop pin and a punch for extractor removal. Makes disassembly much easier and no worries of marring up the finish. Wish I would've found this tool a long time ago.

Awesome tool! Only thing is some of the strands broke soon after starting using it. Great idea. My ruger mkll was always hard to get apart so I really needed this tool.

The tool works as it should and is pretty handy in disassembling the MKIII. My only complaint It's a little expensive for what it is. If it were made from aircraft aluminum or something besides plastic I could see the cost.

This tool is a godsend as it gets rid of at least 3 other things, that would normally take up space in my range bag or clutter up my bench. It's well thought out, very practical and very economical!
