These shoes are perfect for those with Barney Rubble type feet. The shoe is wide and does not pinch. I wear a 9 for the width and when I find a wide shoe I buy 8.5. In this shoe I bought an 8.5 but could have gone down to an 8.My only suggestion would be to purchase support for the ball of your foot. Not enough padding and you can feel your foot strike on hard surfaces.
