I've been using this product for years, and it is effective. I have never had any issues with the quality or availability.

My husband has digestive problems. All of a sudden, he started losing a lot of weight. Couldn't keep enough food in his stomach, was weak and tired, and didn't know why. His primary care provider was of no use. She kept saying "come back in 6 mths". After hearing this 3 times, over a period of 18 months, he gave up going to the clinic and took to the internet for research. Found this product and started taking it. It has greatly helped with his digestion. I have started taking it too, and find it very beneficial. For a supplement, it is expensive, but much cheaper than the prescription alternative. We have not noticed the smell some others have been bothered by.

After a bout with pancreatitis, my gastroenterologist prescribed Creon as a pancreatic enzyme for me but I quickly discovered Creon cost ~$900 USD per month (and that is the price WITH medical coverage though my employer). Due to the high monthly cost, I didn't take Creon regularly thus I still dealt with periodic abdominal pain. As an alternative, I made the switch to Vital Nutrients Pancreatic Enyzmes about a month ago. So far, the results have been excellent and the cost savings have been great for my wallet (especially in time for the holidays)! I only wish that I had known about Vital Nutrients Pancreatic Enzymes sooner since it would have saved me a lot of pain and a TON of money.

Can't afford creon, so can't compare. This does seem to help.

I had my pancreas dissolve in 1995. I didn't go on pancreatic enzymes until about 3 years ago and it makes an enormous difference. I had been using a much inferior product. I used Creon--the prescription version--but it is now up to over $5000/month! Then I finally discovered Vital Nutrients. It actually has a higher proportion of Lipase than Creon--and that is presumably the most important pancreatic enzyme. Even though the cost is significant as I use 2 at every meal--my doctor actually started me on 4--it has rectified my bowel problems almost completely. thank you.
