If you need to read this book it is bearable you learn a ton with it. The authors only drone on a few times a chapter but the best part about the book is the figures and how perfectly they relate

For a new, high priced book it should have been wrapped in plastic. The edge was slightly damaged as though it fell prior to sale.

One of the best books on supply chain management ever written. It is the only author that deals with every process in supply chain and explains how to implement them and it’s impact on EVA. Also it includes a partnership guide to implement close relationships with suppliers and customers which is a fantastic tool to ground the management of the supply chain. I have used myself this partnership guide in two locations with big companies and the results have been wonderful. If you really want to implement supply chain management, different from “extended logistics“, this is the book to know by hard. I very much recommend it.

This text book is very informative, however, the author adds in a lot of fluff material just to drag out the topic. I have yet to open this book without falling asleep due to the author's writing style. It's easy to comprehend, but as mentioned, the material just gets dragged out to an unbearable state. This book is also not cheap. It's nosebleed expensive for what it's worth. If you're not using this book for class, I would not suggest you get it for leisure reading.
