Reline-It

As a long-time denture wearer, I've tried various products to keep my dentures fitting comfortably, and Dentemp Reline-It has been a notable experience for me. When my dentures started feeling loose and causing some irritation, I decided to give this at-home reliner a try, hoping for a quick and easy fix without a trip to the dentist. The kit was straightforward to use, with clear instructions that made the process manageable even for a first-timer like myself. I found the application relatively simple, though, as some users noted, you do need to work quickly as the material begins to set. Once applied, the reliner created a noticeably snugger and more comfortable fit for my dentures, both upper and lower, which was a significant improvement over the constant slipping and discomfort I had been experiencing. The cushioning effect was also a welcome relief, reducing the pressure points that often led to soreness. While it provided excellent temporary relief and improved the fit significantly, it's important to remember that this is a temporary solution for loose dentures, not a permanent fix or a substitute for professional dental care. However, for those times when a quick and effective reline is needed to restore comfort and stability, Dentemp Reline-It has proven to be a reliable and convenient option in my personal experience.

I've been a dental assistant for 17 yrs and I can say this product works very well if you follow the directions. It's just like getting a chairside soft reline at the dental office!

As far as I am concerned, this reline kit is the best. I have used others, but keep coming back to this one. It’s very easy to use, there is very little taste from it. The directions say, to soak your dentures in baking soda for 20 mins afterwards, to take any unwanted aftertaste away. But, I don’t feel the need to do this, as there is very little aftertaste. When I reline my denture with this, they are so comfortable! Also lasts quite a while. 3 relines for 9.00’s is a deal!

I try to leave a review for all the items I buy. I'm am always honest. This review is long but hope it is informative. I first used reline it several years ago. I had purchased it at Walmart for around 4-5 dollars. Then they stopped selling it. I found it here on Amazon in August 1923. It was easy to apply. It worked the same as before. It held my dentures until October of 1923. I again needed to reline so purchased it again. It was great. Then I got new teeth and didn't need it again until this year. I purchased it May 1st of this year it was not the same. It seemed to setup a little faster, and I was unable to empty the product from the mixing container. I thought I probably looked at the clock wrong. I opened the 2nd packet and watched it. I was able to scoop it out and spread it but it still did not turn out right. I ordered it again in June, it did the same thing plus it did not stick to the denture. I thought maybe there was an entire bad batch. July 10, I ordered a new supply. I put it away and could not remember where I put it so July 30 I purchased another order. As it turns out it was not user error. After using this reline it I found it to just be JUNK. It thickens up so fast you cannot let it set for the 30 second rest before pouring it into the denture, it hardens to fast and because of this it cannot be poured. It is to sticky to mold like a different reliner. I have wasted close to 100.00 on this stuff, it states it is non refundable. Please think very carefully before you order this. By the way the company claims it has not changed the formula. Let's see if I get any response to this dilemma from the seller.

Tips: Do not wait for the 3 minutes. Put it in the mouth; if you can flip it upside down and it’s not dripping all over it’s good. Wait 6 minutes when the denture is in the mouth so it can mold to your mouth. Push down on back teeth not front teeth. For uppers push up and forward. Use more not less. I was trying to save money and used too little. You want it to let it ooze out to the sides to give more suction and comfort. Use powder glue and paste. Fixodent Ultra. If needed. One package is for either the upper or lower not both. They do not give enough to cover both in one package. Out in freezer first. Cushion Grip and Denntach were too thick. Densurefit cannot adhere to paste only powder. Took over two hours to remove. People swear by it but it’s so expensive and Reline-it or Prosoft are great alternatives.

Definitely works but still hard to get the flavoring out but doesn't take too many days to get it out once it starts to dissipate off your dentures if you don't get it clearly off it starts to make your gums raw so once it starts to peel you need to go ahead and remove it and redo it again because it causes your dentures to be unlined and cause raw spots on your gums it's something you need to upkeep as soon as it starts to show deterioration

This helped us in an emergency when a tooth came loose from a newer denture. That one couldn’t be helped so he got out his first denture which was loose and added this, followed instructions and now he likes this one better than his new ones. I believe this saved us a lot of money.

Man oh man. There's some really nasty comments on here about this product. I honestly don't know why. I mean I seriously don't. To each his own I guess. I have a top partial that the middle has been cut out. It was supposed to be a temporary set. That was 12 years ago. The dental place closed up and took everyone's $ and didn't give us our final dentures. It was a HUGE chain. Anyway. My insurance refused to pay for another set. Said I had to wait 10 years. So for all this time I have been using dental adhesives and every kind of recliner on the market. I am soooo sick of having to change from brand to brand of adhesive and then putting denture powder on top of it to get a good fit. It's been a long time since I have lined my partial and it has become uncomfortable and hard as a rock and rough on my gums. I thought I would give this product a try. Ok. First off I'm not new to using this kind of product so it's actually easy to use in comparison to others. Just follow the directions. I will say that when you trim it up I use a paring knife. A SHARP paring knife. When you put it in your mouth is doesn't taste any worse than the others and it feels like it's sort of warm...almost tingling for about 5 minutes nor so when you first put them in. I don't bother with the baking soda and water soak to get rid of the taste. It goes away rather quickly. If you are expecting this product to be an adhesive...change your expectations. It is a cushion not an adhesive! And MAN does it feel good!!!! Soft as can be but gives me a stable fit. I use my adhesive as usual but now it is snug and comfortable. I can eat anything I want now without feeling like I have sand under my partial or it rocks from one side to another. I can go get a new set of teeth but these are such a good fit that I don't want to tempt fate. I don't need a dentist to do what I can do myself. I HATE going to the dentist now. Get ripped off like that once and you are burned forever. I will see how long this lasts before I have to use the 2nd package but from the looks and feel of this I think it will be a good while. Oh....one tip to share. After you clean and dry your denture before you apply the reliner I used a Q-tip and wiped the surface of the denture to be relined with Isopropyl alcohol thoroughly to make sure there was NO oils to keep the product from adhering!!!
