Extremely sour & bitter. How can you get vanilla wrong?!?
I had high hopes for this marshmallow dip, but it was a huge disappointment in flavor and texture. First of all, when I opened it, it had been shipped on a hot summer day. So I thought the texture was thin and gelatinous like un-set jello because of the heat. Nope. That's just how it is. Even after refrigerating and shaking it vigorously, I would not say "smooth and creamy" describes this. I understand it's a "dip" and isn't supposed to compare to marshmallow fluff, but I was hoping for something in between like a thick sauce I could pour over my homemade keto ice cream. This is a bit too slimy and doesn't move like a dip or a sauce. I could have seen past the texture if the flavor was better. When it comes down to it, marshmallows basically taste like vanilla to me, and how can you possibly get vanilla flavor wrong? Somehow they managed. The intensely sour and bitter flavor doesn't even allow you to taste the sweetness you're expecting from this diet dessert topping. I've tried their chocolate, caramel, strawberry, blueberry, and pancake syrups as well. They all have the same sour and bitter flavor. Such a shame because I had high hopes for this brand that was recommended to me by my dietician. The glass bottle packaging and the nice graphics on the label, highlighting non-gmo and many other fine attributes I like to see in my processed food labels - all of it made me think this was going to be a game-changer that would get me through the halfway point of my weight loss journey. Sadly, I'll have to keep looking. I'd like to try their salad dressings to see if maybe something that's not intended as a dessert flavor will taste better, but all their stuff is so expensive, and at this point I don't want to throw good money after bad.

Mix it with other ingredients and it tastes great
Does the marshmallow dip have a strange sourness to it? Yeah, admittedly, it does. So, why am I giving five stars? Because it serves the purpose that I bought it for. I got it to make a reduced calorie vanilla protein icing. It's vanilla protein powder, Walden Farms marshmallow dip, and powdered allulose/monkfruit sweetener. Once you mix in other ingredients, the sourness goes away. If you try to do the same and still feel that you taste a bit of sourness, a tiny amount of baking soda will do the trick. And I mean tiny, like 1/8th of a teaspoon. I'm glad that products like this exist to help me cut out empty calories and make room for more nutrient-dense foods in my diet while keeping the weight off.

Read Reviews Before Purchasing
Lesson learned. Should have read reviews. This product is not even close to a marshmallow flavor. Runny yes, but is advertised as a dip, not marshmallow cream. The artificial taste is overwhelming with not a hint of marshmallow flavor.

Perfect fruit dip when mixed with peanut butter
I've been looking for something calorie free to mix with peanut butter for an apple dip. This marshmallow dip is absolutely perfect. By itself, the taste isn't great, although I can taste strong vanilla, which is good. When mixed with peanut butter, it makes a sweet, light, & fluffy dip that I love. I've found that mixing it with equal parts of each makes the nicest spreading and dipping consistency. Marshmallows are made of sugar, so, of course, this can't be exactly the same taste or texture as marshmallow cream, but it certainly works for my purpose! I ordered 1 a couple of weeks ago & am ordering two more today.

Dont buy
Waste of money. I know healthy alternatives is never as good as the real thing but I bought the caramel, marshmallow and chocolate dips from walden farms and they had a chemical taste and the clumps were horrible. I tried to mix and even microwave the lumps out but nothing helped. I threw away $30 down the drain. I really wanted to have a good alternative. Zero calorie was too good to be true.

Very runny
Taste is good. It's very runny though. I expected it to be thicker for dipping.

Delicious
This tastes great, which is hard to believe for the calorie count, but Walden Farms products are always delicious. However, the texture is difficult to work with because it is very soupy. Even in my refrigerator it remains far more liquid than solid. I am still enjoying it, but would love to see the formula thickened some.

Vile!! Nope nope nope. NOTHING like marshmallow.
I don’t think I can put into words just how horrible this stuff is. I rarely throw stuff away, I hate wasting food and money but there is no way that you could refer to this stuff as food, that would imply that it is remotely edible - it’s not. It is a runny chemical tasting goo, nothing like marshmallow in consistency and does not taste anything like marshmallow. You might as well pour some glue in a jar and eat that, it would be cheaper and taste better. I hate that I’ve wasted money on this, it tastes purely of runny chemicals, nothing about it is redeeming. Honestly, this is one of the worst food items I’ve ever bought, and this is coming from someone who has a sugar free diet, it’s not like I’m not use to sugar substitutions. This stuff is just vile!

Big waste of money
Extremely gross, runny (like soup) with an unpleasant slimness feeling and the taste is nothing like Marshmellow- extremely chemical tasting.

deception

Garbage
This tastes absolutely nothing like marshmallow. It is also extremely thin and runny, like water. Don't waste your money!
