A family member has a bone spur on their heel. The only solution is to offload the weight and relieve the pressure.Very comfortable for the patient and she is able to use her grabber to easily Velcro it closed. We fondly refer to it as her donut.The podiatrist was happy I stumbled across this one! It enables her to still walk at night when she needs to.Pictured is the medium on my wrist just to show you how well it offloads. The size chart for the medium is very accurate and it fits her well. After one night, when I awakened, I had pain on my leg where the wedge pillow was around my leg. When I removed it, my leg was really red where the wedge was wrapped around my leg and the redness lasted for at least an hour.
