It is exactly what I wanted . Works great in my stove. I just ordered another for a second stove I own. ### ⭐⭐⭐ But it just fits *by K***H on January 27, 2020* fits nicely with my optimus polaris on the trangia windsheild, but i wish it had bigher holes for stove pipes and adjusters, so I don't need to disassemble the stove pip to install the adapter ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ No instructions, and may not work the way you think - photo attached *by H***E on February 23, 2021* I purchased this and when it arrived, there was simply a plastic bag that contained the cup and a 'W'-shaped piece of spring steel. This review would have been five stars, but for the lack of any indication how it is supposed to be used. Having some exposure to things mechanical, in the face of no information, I ass-u-me d the piece was a retainer that would be mounted underneath, securing the burner cup to the lower half of the pot stand/windshield. Try as I might, I could not make it fit. I stumbled upon an older video by a talented odd-ball who goes by the handle 'berniedog' [and is likely to attack you for using a handle - has a screw loose -- but talented with stoves] where he had a Nova stove attached to a Trangia 25 or 27 with this burner cup. As soon as the video was done, I went back to the bench and attached my Nova to the cup after placing the spring piece inside the cup -- effectively it only works as a spacer with some rigidity. As other reviewers have mentioned, the fit is a bit tight, and that combined with the stiffness of the fuel hose for the stove makes it a bit fiddly to get it in place and keep it there flat. Once it is all together, have your fuel connected and pressurized, squirt the alcohol to primed, then it works like a champ.
