EK Success Tools Edge Punch, Large, Diamond Flowers

I used this punch to add some decoration to my DIY Wedding Invitations and they look amazing now! As long as you move the paper patiently and don't just try to yank it out it won't get caught (that's what I learned). It cuts beautifully and it lines up well so you can continuously punch holes without having to guess where it starts and ends. I also like that it has a lock on it. In the picture I placed my phone for comparison (Nexus 5 which is roughly 5 1/2" by 2 1/2"). Shipping was also great, I purchased on the 5th of January and received it on the 8th of January (I live in California). (Left picture is the top, right is the bottom)

This is a beautiful punch to use with papercrafts. It doesn’t cut through extra thick paper and when it gets stuck, your paper gets ruined. I’ve used it 7 months and have now had to throw it away because it gets stuck and won’t cut on part of one flower. Disappointed now, but like I said it worked beautifully until it stopped.

I make greeting cards for friends. The package arrived on time, and works extremely well. Pros: It makes beautiful musical notes on notecards. It is easy to punch out. Cons: The notes are larger than I expected. One note is about 3/4 inch. The entire punch is about 3 inches. I align the greeting cards with the musical notes as instructed , but have failed to get a clean edge on my cards. It will take more practice than expected. I am certain a punch amateur.

EK punches are awesome! This punch works beautifully. Clean punches and it doesn't hold on to the paper and rip the design when you pull the paper out the way some punches do. EK punches are my favorites! It's always a little tricky to line up the edge to punch all the way across the side of the paper but EK punches are always easier than my other punches. Highly recommend.

The scroll pattern is very nice. It leaves a border edge that you can leave on or cut off. It's easy to line up the paper to continue punching correctly. But about every third or fourth punch, it jams. I've tried everything to release the jam (turning it over and pushing on the "stuck" part, banging it hard to get it to release, etc.) but invariably, I have to simply rip the strip I've been making out, grab something to push on the underside to get it to "pop" out and start again. The number of strips I've gotten to the length I wanted, in one piece, is low. I have wasted more paper trying to get long pieces then I've ever used. I finally just gave up trying to get longer strips and now glue the shorter pieces together.

A filmstrip paper punch...what's not to love?! I had so much fun as soon as I got it punching through a bunch of black paper...now to find adorable pictures to frame in each window! You do have to be careful, it's easy to line up longways, but sometimes I don't push the paper quite all the way into the puncher and there's no room for error...the cute little holes end up going off the edge. One other note, I'd love it if the punch included some sort of light punched marking on the edges to show me where to cut. I either cut too close to the little holes or too far and it looks "off" immediately. A guideline of some sort would be a huge help.
