"Up Up and Away"
The "Kid Galaxy Backyard Flyer" 5 Star Review See a video I took with my IPhone- [...] Great Toy! We are always looking for great toys, and if you have a great deal of space, or if you're able to go where you have lots of open space like a park, rec center etc, this toy will blow your mind. I'm not kidding, at our local recreation center, I took our 7 year old grand daughter, girls love these toys too by the way. We stood her on the 50 yard line of a practice football field, she launched her plane into the wind (that's key), it flew around and around until it flew past the goal post landing in the empty parking lot. It flew at least 45 seconds, maybe more. Some flights are hit or miss, but more times than not, you'll get a great flight. Here's a couple important things I feel you should keep in mind. First, these planes are fragile, they can take crashing when the flight comes to an end but if your kids are young, managing them as they play with this toy is going to insure it last. A kid could easily step and crush, sit and squash. These planes are lite, made to catch air, not to end up under a bookbag. Just note, it's fun for the whole family, just monitoring when played with, teaching to care for fragile but fun toys, will see you'll have many flights to come. Quick note, if flown around trees, these planes will end up in one. So, if you do fly close to trees, it's ok, the planes will be fine, just make sure before flown, you have a ladder on standby. Bottom Line- It's in the best toys top ten for us this year, girls love this as much as boys, I'm 40 plus and I loved it just as much. It's priced right, great value, just handle with a little more care than you would most yard toys, don't get me wrong, it can take a beating but you dont want to put ones body weight on it ;) Have a great flight, The McElveen's of South Carolina

One and Done
1st plane I received did not fly, and went straight down after shot off the launcher. Called customer service and they sent a replacement quickly. The replacement launcher didn't work at all, so I used the first launcher with the replacement plane. Waited for a windy day, and set out with my 4 year old daughter to the park. On the first gust, I shot the plane into the wind and up it went. Then up some more. Then more, and before we knew it, it was gone. All I can say is that it worked... to good. It flew off over the trees and a fence and down a cliff. I guess it was a fun toy. You just need a LOT of room on a windy day.

Off We Go Into the Wild Blue Yonder
I purchased two of these for my four year old twin grandsons and could not be happier. Although the no-planes are made of styrofoam, they are sturdier than I would have thought. The planes fly on their own, and are quite acrobatic. The boys really love these planes, and the only problem we have ever had was the result of them flying too well...one flew away from the center of a large park and was lost. We bought another as a replacement...one month later a neighbor two blocks away returned the original aircraft which had landed in her backyard. Make sure you have lots of room when flying these fun no-planes.

Definitely worth the cost
For the price and materials, I didn't expect this to last long. It surprised me by not breaking the first time it crashed, and believe when I say it CRASHED! Ours did not want to fly straight -- instead, it veered immediately to the left with each launch. This was not a problem, however. The boys (ages 5, 7, and 11) took turns launching and chasing it, and all three of them enjoyed this immensely. Easy to use, easy to enjoy, and not so easy to break (unless you have a 4-yr old sister rip one of the wings in half!). I'd recommend this for boys and girls -- it's just plain fun! And the price is definitely right.

Very disappointed as this was supposed to be a gift for ...
Did not fly more than a couple feet. Very disappointed as this was supposed to be a gift for my young grandson. Certainly did not fly like shown on the Utube videos. It appeared to me that the wings were assembled crooked which resulted in the poor flight pattern. Great idea for a young person but poor results. Not worth the effort or the money.

Hit and Miss!
I don't know what happened. We ordered the same plane a few years ago for my older child. That plane was a hit! It would soar high and EXTREMELY far. You couldn't fly it at home as it would definitely get lost. We went to parks with large, expansive open areas. We had lots of fun with it until my younger one was born and went on his three and four year old campaign of destruction of any toy that he could his hands on. Now that he is older I thought it would be fun for him to see what his older brother enjoyed while he was younger so I ordered it for Christmas. When we finally were able to make some time and get it out of the box to fly it we were ecstatic and excited to get it up in the air. We were going to sail the wild blue yonder! My now six year old would see what all the fun was about of which we spoke. However, only to our disappointment it didn't come through. 99% of the time when launched it basically came off the gun and made a beeline for the ground. Only one time was my 10 year old able to get it to fly about 50% of what we experienced before. We followed the directions to a "T" without success. In fact the one time it did somewhat fly was when my 10 year old launched it with the wind instead of against the wind as directed. However we couldn't duplicate it. We compared it to our old plane that even with glue flew better than this one, and my four old noticed that the older one was firmly sealed whereas the newer one had a small gap in the front fuselage and that the propeller was more extended on the newer one than the older. I don't know if this makes a difference but all I can say is that we weren't happy. So it's a chance......
