Salon quality pro tan without the cost. No mess no drip application, dries within minutes compared to others I've used that are tacky even 1-2 hours later. (And I live in Florida where everything dries slowly.) I trusted the previous makeup artist reviews and this product didn't disappoint! I will be stocking up on this stuff to avoid disappointment in the event they stop making it at some point. Application: I apply to dry skin in the shower to contain any over spray but there isn't much clean up after as the spray is very lightweight and targets where sprayed. Other products tried have a wider spray resulting in waste and you end up using more. Note: using a mit to buff in after applying is KEY for an even professional sun kissed look. Invest in one if you don't have one, the mit I use was $8.00. Scent: Fresh, subtle, no chemical smell even while developing. Other self tanners leave me self conscious of the smell especially if applied just before an event. No worries with this one! Color: I have very pale Swedish/Polish skin and some inherited spider veins. After the first application I love the natural looking bronze color (not orange at all). It does a nice job of camouflaging the imperfections as an added bonus. It doesn't completely conceal them but that wasn't my expectation when looking to buy a self tanner. The Medium Dark spray color was not too dark even on my light skin. I used only on my legs to even out the real suntan on my upper body. Honestly I can't tell the difference between 'real' vs 'fake' tan! Transfer: After allowing to dry I purposely put on white shorts in the first couple of hours while the color is still developing to test how well it stays on. Two hours in, my white shorts are still white! Note: The next test will be the sweat test. I haven't found a self tanner yet that holds up but won't take away stars if that happens. Tanners just aren't waterproof. Initially I was hesitant to buy the 2-pack thinking that I'd be stuck with double the product if I didn't like the results. But now I'm super happy to have a back up bottle on hand! And as previously mentioned I will almost immediately put in another order to have plenty for the summer ahead. Five stars+ on this self tanner!

Love this brand, it does seem a bit darker this year, but it sprays on nicely and if you wait the 2+ hrs, the longer the better you will have a really nice natural color. I am very fair and it works great!. Spray at least 6” or further away. Move continuously and in a slow rhythm. Just don’t forget to wash off before dressing/sleeping. It has a tinted coat that comes off with a wipe. I also place lotion on the bottom of my feet and palms before spraying and I cover my space with 2 bed sheet, and tissue up my nose :) It is a spray after all.

This is one of the best self tanners I have tried. I like that it doesn’t have that offensive smell. Spray on a self tanner mitt and spread evenly around the area you would like tanned. I encourage not to spray directly onto skin as it will not go on even and it will make small splatter marks. Additionally, spray in safe area so the residue doesn’t fall onto surfaces that you don’t want to stain. Doesn’t transfer onto sheets or clothing (let dry before dressing or laying down). The color is immediately seen and gets darker with time (color is natural and not orange at all). Overall, great product!

All I can say about this product is it is AMAZING! I am a redhead and have very fair skin so as you can imagine it is not easy for me to get a tan and if I eventually manage to get a very light tan it is at the end of the summer. I have tried several different self tanners and never been overly impressed. They all left streaks no matter how hard I tried to blend it in evenly. They also had a very orange tint to them. I never had the courage to put those other self tanners on my face for fear i could end up looking like a pumpkin. Other parts of my body I could cover with clothing if needed but can't really hide my face in public. Plus, the smells were not pleasant in the least. I just wanted a subtle glow instead of my pale skin and was never able to achieve that until now! This is soooo easy to use. I shower before I apply (even tho they suggest to do so 24 hours before application) and exfoliate really well. I get out of the shower, dry off and apply a small amount of moisturizer to areas I don't want heavier spots such as elbows, knees, elbows, etc. I get back in my shower and begin in a back and forth motion on my face, yes, I said my face and slowly work my way down. The directions don't say to but I use a tanning mit to blend spots I feel need it. That's it!! Right away I can see a beautiful, glowing tan start to form and within a few hours or the next morning (because I shower mainly at night) I have an amazing looking tan with no streaking and no orange pumpkin look. The smell is great too. I have finally been able to achieve the natural looking tan I have been searching for for years. I am in love with it and recommend it to anyone!

This was my tried-and-true, holy grail product that I have been loyal to for more than four years. However, in the last two months, Body Drench has completely reformulated this product, changed production from the USA to China, and ruined it. Do not waste your money on this new version. The new spray nozzle clogs and does not provide the fine, even mist the original was famous for. This is directly linked to the ingredient change: The original formula contained Ethoxydiglycol, PEG-60 Almond Glycerides. These are crucial. Ethoxydiglycol helps the tanner penetrate the skin evenly, resulting in a deeper, more even tan. PEG-60 Almond Glycerides act as an emulsifier/texture enhancer. Removing them contributed to the poor performance and streaking. The DHA now sits on the surface differently. Without those specialized solvents, the product likely feels stickier, takes longer to dry, and is more prone to running or concentrating unevenly, leading to streaks and that awful new nozzle performance. The most compelling evidence of a quality change is the position of Dihydroxyacetone (DHA). In cosmetics, ingredients are listed in descending order of concentration. In the original, DHA is the 4th ingredient. In the new formula, DHA is the 2nd to last ingredient. The result? The new tan will be significantly lighter because the main tanning agent is present in a much lower concentration, likely a cost-cutting measure along with the move to China production. This means you have to spray much more to get any color, which then contributes to uneven application from the poor formula. This product was ruined because they reduced the concentration of the main tanning ingredient (DHA) to save money, they replaced high-performance, skin-penetrating solvents with cheaper, standard humectants/preservatives, destroying the signature fine-mist, non-streaking application, and the new ingredient base and change in factory location ruined the delicate chemistry that produced that glowy, bronzy, "pinky hue." Body Drench chose cost savings (moving production to China and using fewer active/expensive ingredients) over product quality, and it has backfired completely. This is no longer the product you loved.

The Body Drench Quick Tan Instant Self-Tanner is a total game-changer! I've tried so many self-tanners over the years, and this one is by far one of the best. The spray application makes it super easy to use, and it goes on evenly without streaks or patchiness. The color is gorgeous—a natural tan that looks like you just came back from a tropical vacation. I love that it’s buildable, so you can go for a subtle glow or a deeper bronze depending on your preference. It dries quickly, which is a huge plus when you’re on the go, and it doesn’t leave that sticky feeling some tanners do. Another thing I appreciate is the scent—it’s much more pleasant than others I’ve tried. Overall, this product delivers professional-quality results at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a natural, sun-kissed glow!

Had I never tried other tanning products, I'd probably rate this a four or five because it does impart a nice glow to skin. However, for a "Medium/Dark" tanning product, I'd say it should be labeled as "Medium" at best. For people with very pale skin, this product would probably work well as it doesn't make your skin dark, and therefore you wouldn't have to worry about streaks. The spray is a little tough to get a hang of. Too close and you're really just making streaks on your skin that you have to blend out, and that drip. Too far and the product just fills the air and barely does anything to your skin. I resorted to using it close and then blending with a mit. The tan that I got out of this was, for lack of a better word, translucent. In a dim room, I looked tan. In natural light, you could tell I had put a tanning spray over light skin. I'm an experienced tanner and sunless tanner. I exfoliate, use a mit, and can usually achieve a very even tan with any product. The results of this product were darker than Fake Bake, but I'd still use Fake Bake over this because it is easier, dries faster, and is much more even. My new favorite for a truly dark tan is St Moriz mousse in dark. Nothing beats it. Suggestions for use- the first time I used this, I used one spray down each limb. It wasn't dark at all. The second time, I sprayed up close and covered my limbs. It was a little darker, but once I showered, most of the tan was gone and it was still not a solid looking tan in natural light. If you're using this, use a lot! Overall- I won't throw this out. Maybe I'll use it as a backup. It would work to use if you're very pale and want to go out in a bathing suit, perhaps to darken your tan, but don't want to go out looking pale.

I highly reccomend this product !! No orange fake tan look smells great! Even my boyfriend commented when I sprayed it that he thought I bought a new body spray! I reccomend spraying about 8-10 inches from body evenly then applying a moisturizing lotion to even it out and preferably the Jergens med to dark lotion for an even golden look! The cost is super affordable for two cans that last longer than I thought I’ve used almost daily and still have some after a little over a month! Doesn’t stain my clothes and doesn’t come off in shower BUT DEFINITELY would say exfoliate prior to use and then at least maybe a week if not actually tanning in the sun or bed cuz it’s inevitable that it will build up on skin so exfoliate is important! I’m actually buying another set to stock up and have in case it’s ever discontinued like happens once you find something you like ! Perfect for weddings or events where you want a perfect golden tan last minute !! Just use in bathroom as it will get on rugs when sprayed !! But wiped up and doesn’t drain anything as far as I know !! Five stars!! Get it today !!!!

Great instant tan which leaves a nice glow on the skin, great colour pay off yet buildable. Would definitely recommend!
