I have to say, I much rather eat the white. There aren't as many hulls and it's just not as tasty as the yellow. Since I will often eat it without an toppings, I can attest to its flavor. When I do top it, I'll toss it with butter which doesn't impact the flavor of either. I use a microwave silicone popper. Whether it's the popper or the popcorn itself, there's very few kernels that go unpopped (that's compared to other popcorns of tried). So, I'll be back to buy more of this in the near future!
