I could easily spread the paste on my leather strop. And after a few hours of drying, it leaves smooth feeling strop surface. I felt like I was stropping on bare leather. It feels like the blade GLIDED over the strop. The only difference is, the pasted strop leaves shiny mirror polish. Being water-based, it is easy to wash off paste residue.
