Do these boxes come with the hanging rods?

Yes rods are provided with these boxes. We are in the middle of remodeling our home and have used these boxes for a lot of clothes to include heavy coats and jackets. Boxes are very sturdy and well worth the money.

Double wall or single?

Single wall of cardboard. It’s double fold over where the clothing rod sits, pretty sturdy for the price

Yes, very nice once sealed up can stack as top is sturdy to hold another box on top

I appreciate the answers to my question about the side folding down - however mine did not come that way as the picture shows. perhaps a defect?

Hello Bill, My wardrobe boxes were just as picture, you must have defect boxes. We saved them for our next move since they are quality boxes. The only thing you need to do is tape the bottom and top for shipping. Hope this helps. Mike
