Hape Race Car Transporter | Six-Piece Wooden Toy Train Car Transport Set for Kids

If your kid likes trains and cars, this is a winner that your toddler will enjoy over a long time. The cars by themselves also can run on the same wooden train tracks, although they don't have any magnets. Our toddler likes to take the cars with him when we go out of the house. And when playing with his trains he'll do the actions of opening the ramps for each car and driving the car onto the ramp and folding it onto boxcar, then connecting them all together on the track with the magnets and watching them go. It's a nice extra interaction to add to the train set instead of just adding on a line of boxcars by magnets. Moreover, the train cab opens and there is a train engineer that can be taken in and out! Also a fun thing to interact with. Kind of wish that the front steam train also had a magnet in the front of the train, but still great value without it. Admittedly, our toddler (at 2 years old, which is earlier than recommended) was frustrated by how the boxcar ramps worked at first, but eventually caught on and it became a favorite within a few weeks.

We bought this for our grandkids and boy, do we LOVE, love, love this toy train! It's been a while and it's still in excellent condition. Hours of fun!!!

My son has a KidKraft Train Set which came with a train and three train cars, they keep on disconnecting and make playtime quite frustrating. I purchased this Hape Set and have to say the quality is night and day. The train and train cars seem to have a little bit of weight to them so they don’t always derail by the slightest bump in the track. The magnets of the train and train cars are also a nice strength and I am going to look for other Hape trains in the near future. Quality seems very durable.

Anything wooden, grandson loves. He uses the trailers with other cars and trains. He is autistic so his imagination is great. He also says they are like skateboards so he tapes straws to them and pushed them by the straw.

Son enjoys but the engine doesn’t run as smooth as other trains we have. Like the wheels rub so it will go slower down hills. Not a big deal but noticeable.

This is a great gift and high in quality. It is compatible with the Brio train tracks. It is not battery operated. The racing cars are a favorite.

Kind of expensive but for a 3 year old who loves cars and his Hape train set, it was a no brainer.

A me è capitato che la ruota dentata della locomotiva non “prendesse” bene e così il trenino fatica a salire. Problema risolto nel giro di 3 gg con cambio della confezione. Se dovete fare un regalo, ordinartelo un mese prima così da provarlo per tempo.
