Silhouettes Cutting Plotter, Rubber, White, 30,5 cm Schneidebreite

Excellent piece of kit, the main thing I was reading in some of the reviews was it would not cut anything! You have to make sure the blade attachment is correctly located in the correct holder and you have the right type of blade for the material you need to cut. This comes with a 1mm auto blade and the cutter is marked with a No.1 and goes in the holder marked No.1. It has to align with the slots and be secured with the pull/push tab on the front of the holder with the flat to the back on the blade. There are loads of videos on how to install the blades on the internet YT Site. When I had done all this selected and loaded the card the 'Send' button on the software was greyed out, however after restarting the cutter it wanted to download new firmware (so make sure you are connected to the internet). Once updated I was already to cut and it worked fine, I also noticed that if you put too thin a material like cheap A4 paper it can dragged while cutting at certain points, putting better quality thicker paper in to test it solved the problem. My advice, watch some videos before you buy it on YT, the website has four good free ebooks, along with the manual to download all pdf. There is also some videos, also the software is available to download and there is a chart to show you the difference between the free version and the others you have to buy. You only have to download and install the software once. If you upgrade the serial code unlocks the extra features. Lastly mine came with a UK plug included.

The machine is easy to set up and with the aid of the Silhouette tutorials you can cut simple materials with the autoblade very soon after opening the box. It's very accurate, especially if you use the registration correctly for printed copy. What does take the time is getting the process from PC document to printer accurate. Thicker materials with the craft blade are harder to manage. You need to make sure that you don't cut too deep at once and avoid sharp curves. Do make sure you get all of the internal packaging that retains the cutting head out.

I'm so glad i bought this! i did a lot of research beforehand because I'm new to using these machines and it was between the Cricut Maker or the Silhouette Cameo 4. I went for this one and it was the best decision ever! Any minor problems i came across using the machine were quickly resolved because there are so many tutorials online about it. I use it every so often for card making and it's given me amazing cuts, just be sure to always do a test cut beforehand so you know the settings are right for the materials chosen. I'm still using the autoblade it came with, it's lasted quite a while thankfully.

It's a lovely machine. The only issue I had was that as a first time user, I messed up the first cut and stopped it half way through. I didn't know you had to remove the cutting sheet completely at that point and re-insert it (neither does google), so I ended up ruining the cutting mat with the second cut.

Bought this as was upgrading from the cameo 1 as it has a vinyl holder making it much easier to cut lots of vinyl at 1 time.

Use the tutorials and you will very quickly get the hang of things I use this as a beginner to create table plan and table settings for a wedding

I spent an entire afternoon trying to get this machine to work. All I get is error messages, I've installed it properly but the software doesn't load properly, when you try to access it, you continuously gives error messages, then it shuts down, plus the blue tooth keeps losing its connection. I cannot wait to send this piece of junk back. Total waste of time. Silhouette customer services not very helpful either...

J'ai 60 ans et je ne suis pas un jeune Geek pourtant j'ai reçu la machine, installée, deux heures, j'avais vectorisé un Logo, découpé mon pochoir et je sortais une première plaque test peinte(mon utilisation est destiné au pochoir de peinture carrosserie) Le logiciel et facile, beaucoup de documentation et en Français. Le support technique pour l'installation est simple et efficace, et sur le net on trouve des tutos pour tout. La précision de la machine est très bonne. J'ai hésité entre plusieurs machine, mais je suis content de ce choix car le support permet de très rapidement pouvoir l'utiliser sans passer des jours a galérer.

Bu ürünü beğenmedim çünkü çalışmıyor ve bıçaklardan aksesuarların fiyatı pahalı ve hızlı değişiyor. O kadar kötü ki aldığımda para kaybettim. Bıçakları pratik değil ve kağıdı yırtıyor. Kötü malzeme ve pahalı bıçakların yavaş üretimi ve sık değiştirilmesi nedeniyle para ve küçük bir proje kaybettim.
