Harris Bed Bug Early Detection Glue Traps (4/Pack)

I travel for work and despite all the precautions I take (checking the room before bringing anything inside, not putting my bag on the floor or bed, and all sorts of other stuff) but still somehow still ended up with these damn things in our house. Fortunately we realized we had them before the infestation spread beyond the one room. I wish there’s was a trap that could be baited or a poison they could eat and bring back to a nest but no such luck. Lots of spraying followed by a good cleaning, along with encasing the box springs and mattress in a protective cover (with lots of powered) helped. I’ve read several reviews concerning the stickiness, or lack there of but I didn’t have any problems with bugs sticking. Once we eliminated those we could we used these traps to monitor the eradication efforts and progress. The first one I used I set it up as instructed, and although it wasn’t difficult I decided to tear off the flaps on the remaining ones. By removing the flaps I was able to view them without picking them up to see if any bugs were stuck to the glue area. These aren’t traps, meaning they’re not going to eliminate the bugs or rid your home of these nightmarish creatures. The only thing these “traps” do is to let you know you haven’t rid yourself of all of them yet.

I was getting bit and I thought I have bedbugs , and I put this out underneath my bed. To my surprise , I have been getting bit by spiders. Now I keep them under my bed all the time , and that way , if any spiders come near their on the glue board and not me.

These glue traps did not work for their intended purpose. I placed them as directed in multiple locations where early detection would matter, and they did not catch or indicate anything at all. In terms of use and ease of use, they are simple to set out, but simplicity does not help when there are no results. The design and appearance are basic and unobtrusive, which is fine, but they also feel flimsy and cheaply made. Effectiveness is the main problem. They did not provide any indication of activity, which defeats the purpose of an early detection product. The adhesive did not seem strong enough to reliably trap anything, making the traps feel unreliable. From a safety standpoint, there is nothing concerning, but there is also nothing reassuring about using a product that does not perform. There was no noticeable smell, which is a positive, but again, that does not compensate for lack of function. Overall, these traps did not provide peace of mind or useful information. Because they did not work as intended, I would not purchase them again or recommend them.

Invest more, and buy the one with the lamp in it. It attracts way way more, like 10 times more so go for that instead. TBH this one is up for a week and not a single catch. My problem is tiny flees maybe for something else the results would be different.

got these because we got bedbugs from somewhere. We placed them all around the bed and furniture. Good for catching spiders for sure. Sucks when you step on one barefooted. Very sticky...

I never caught any bed bugs, just a couple of spiders mostly. Better to be safe than sorry. These were priced at a fair price, easy to use. I felt confident that if I had something, by following the directions on how to place them, I would have found something.

I love this company. The products are amazing every product they have out does what it is supposed to do. I highly recommend getting it. I have used it all through my house. It keeps the bugs the bed bugs away. It alert you right away. They have a spray out there that I’ve done all my Baseboards window seals. Any thing that has wood. The spray works great they also have a powder out there and oh my gosh, amazing amazing I would recommend anybody that has a problem with bedbugs and just don’t have the money to have someone come out and clean it up for you. Just take some foggers a couple of times and then spray the spray they have use the powder along your baseboards. Also, I highly recommend anyone that has a problem to get this because it does work and for some reason they pulled it from our shelves at Walmart and I was so so disappointed but I know I can get it here and I love It

I had purchased these in the past for bed bugs and used them in conjunction with the interceptor traps under the wheels of my bed frame. These caught the bugs, and various other creepy crawlies around my pervious apt. I moved and found my new house that is a detached unit with an old foundation has spiders of all shapes and sizes. I looked into spider traps, but knew these had worked so I gave it a shot, sure enough when I checked them, I had a bunch of spiders to show for it, some rather large. Just enough sticky to not stick to your skin, and can leave them around for as long as you like. These are easy to set up and use. I just bought two more packs and haven't seen a bug since! Highly recommend.
