We have a basement door and sometimes the water drain flood and water comes under the door. I just put these pads down (outside & inside) and no more worries about ingress and damage. Then I just toss them (biodegradable) when I am done

I got this to keep the water inside a disability shower installed incorrectly at my father-in-laws condo. Until it is fixed this product is being used to damn the water inside the shower vs all over inside the bathroom. Used 2 of the medium length orange ones. They hold a lot of water and keeps the water inside the shower. Perfect temporary fix!!!

Woke up to water leaking through my statement ceiling from the unit above mine. We put buckets under some spots, but water was coming through in many places. We used dams to fence off areas to keep water contained and put the mats under slow drips when we ran out of buckets. 2 hours later and the management company hasn't gotten here, but we've got things not only contained, but mostly mopped up. It looks like we caught about 10 gallons using the kit. Jumped on here to order another kit just in case something like this happens again.

This kit is as basic as you can get and is very low quality. The orange "snakes" only gave minimal protection during a recent rainstorm in stopping water from flowing where we didn't want it too. Only a couple of the snakes semi swelled once they got wet as the product inside the sock isn't spread evenly so they only swell at those points. Also, after the rain had cleared and we went to remove these, they are super sticky and the product inside starts to ooze out of the sock and makes a mess and rendering them unable to be used a second time. The flat absorbent pads are ok but it does not take a lot of water to overwhelm them.

The drip pads were useless and the little gel dams were so tiny there was no way that this would control any amount of water like a leaking window which is what we bought it for
