He recommended we get a cover due to inordinate amount of leaves we have in that area. I asked if he had any in the truck and he said ‘Yeah, and they’re $65! Go to amazon and get the same thing for a lot less.’ So I did. Lots of good reviews, and I was pleased with what I received with regard to quality. It’s the size my HVAC guy said to get and the bungees hold it in place fine. It was a simple solution made possible with a simple installation. It works in that it keeps debris out of the ac fan/compressor unit, and finally it’s a LOT less than what the HVAC service technician will charge you for one. With regard to durability, well time will tell and I’ll update as necessary. Today is January 14th and we haven’t gotten into the season we call MISERABLE in Florida yet, so I’ll update if there’s an issue with mildew or accelerated dry rot.
