Camp Chef Hickory BBQ Pellets

Great product great flavor burn great, totally satisfied and not expensive at all

These are a great alternative to Recteq pellets, and possible higher quality if not similar quality. I’ve been using them in a Recteq RT-1250. The 4 bags I got initially had an average diameter of 6.8mm with none being longer than 1 inch that I could see, which is excellent for avoiding any thermal bridges. The smell is really nice, the smoke taste of the food is subtle but also very nice. Startup time compared to pit boss pellets is much faster and with less white smoke. Before I began running these I cleaned out the burn chamber and bottom of the smoker and notice less ash production, but also less ash throw out onto the food. The price compared to other pellets is high, especially if you can find high quality pellets in a store, but these are some of the only pellets on US amazon that will ship overseas, so that’s also a plus. I called Recteq for shipping overseas, and was recommended these pellets by the recteq associate. He said these were the pellets he ran in RT-700.

Fantastic pellets! They produce a clean, consistent burn and give food a rich, balanced smoky flavor without being overpowering. The pellets were exactly as described, charred cherrywood, worked exceedingly well in the Ninja Woodfire Grill…no sticky residue in the hopper, the flavour was stupendous.
