Rainforest Jungle Building Set

They said they said has multiple trees and the base plates are fully detailed. I wish I could say that there weren't enough animals, but that simply isn't true. For such an easy set it comes with a huge assortment that can be arranged in in any way. I'm definitely satisfied with this purchase 🤗

Was skeptical since they weren't "major" brand name. The bamboo doesn't stay together very well but to he honest my younger son doesn't care. My oldest noticed but shrugged it off. Great addition to change the building block scenery. The animals were a huge hit and the baseplates alone were worth it. Good details. Overall we are 99% satisfied. And it looks exactly as pictured.

this was purchased with this dinosaurs' building blocks. they look nice together. perfect for 4 to 5 yrs old.

What you see is what you get, and it's pretty good. There are a few odd spots of color across it, though I took them to represent where I should add certain pieces (though not all of them looked great, even with pieces on top of them). There were also no instructions, which made things a bit confusing while setting it up. The trees aren't the conventional Lego trees, and instead are several cylinder bricks with a green shaft sticking out of it, which the leaves/branches then click onto. It's pretty good scenery still, but falls apart really easily. The other trees are cylinders with leaves naturally sticking off of them. These leaves break really easily, but if you're careful you'll be fine. The shrubs are pretty much the same as Lego shrubs, but a bit harder/sharper so be careful. The animals are nearly identical to Lego animals. It was nice to get a couple different color fishes, and I've never had a Lego Spider or Crab before so that was nice. The alligator I personally think is actually better than the Lego version, or at least the older ones I'm familiar with. The bear though can pretty much just be used for idle poses, either on all 4s or on hind legs, with read raised or lowered. So don't be excited to use it in a stop-motion video. I do think that it's worth the buy, though it's not what I expected. With this review hopefully you'll know more about the product before you get it, and can anticipate what you'll need to do when setting it up. I really should have looked up reference, but hey, now you know you should too.

Awesome set

My son loved it and it compared nicely to the other block brands he has. It comes with really cute animals, like a bear, alligator, crab, fish, snake, 2 dog shaped. They weren’t detailed in the description so it was a nice surprise!

Leaves break off shafts easily. Lots of bamboo. They give you an entire bamboo forest. The pieces of the bamboo fall like jacks and the leaves are brittle when you try to push them down to stabilize the stalks. This is a scene out of Viet Nam or Cambodia or something. Lots of palm tops, very green, like a jungle. The rock, when you assemble it, reminds me of a Mayan pyramid. If you are going for a jungle scene awesome, this might be the set for your family. There is a lack of flowers though. Tough to integrate into a western "western" ... namely European or Middle Eastern or Latin American (with the exception of tropical and rainforest scenes) simulated terrain. However it is not impossible. Just integrate with the rest of your collection, display what works and store or trade what is excess (like a small Tupperware full of bamboo links and another full of palm leaves).

Love the various items - will be great to add to Lego builds.
