I Like it! *by M***. on October 12, 2017* I wanted a telescoping rod to keep in my car. Over the last 3 years I have had 2 other telescoping rods. Both of those shattered under normal fishing conditions. I finally bought the Quantum rod. So far after a year of use, it has been great and held up to all sorts of abuse. The only drawback are the eyes. They can get bent. When they do break, like many do, I am going to buy some of those super tough bendy eyes and tie those on. Previous reviewers just saying its fragile have to understand its thin graphite that telescopes! It is fragile but has excellent eyelets and for the price you can get 2 or 3. Try stuffing a full size rod in your car or suitcase, it would be fragile too. I have broken other telescopic rods before but that was being too aggressive when hung up or when closing the rod.
