JUST GET IT! 10/10
Words can’t express how awesome this light is. It’s so light, the 3 brightness settings are fantastic because in low mode, which is still good in really dark environments, the battery lasts forever. It’s so useful to have both hands free and light right where you need it. I’ve used it with the cap clip, and the headband too, both work flawless. The touchless mode to turn on/off is great when your hands are dirty or greasy. Seriously, you will not regret buying this - it’s a 10/10. I honestly think every time I use it “dang this is such a good product”. Durable as well, I’ve had mine about 2 years already. Hat-tip to the designer/maker of this product 🥇

Great work light
This item is bright and light weight that works well attached to the brim of my hat. Long lasting rechargeable battery with a USB-C plug. Easy to operate. The motion sensor is too sensitive for any practical use. It needs to be only activated at extreme close range.

Great fir ice fishing
This light is fantastic for a ball cap. I have 4 of these. The white light has 3 power settings. The motion sensor works with any of the light settings and it works flawlessly. Wave your hand in front of it to turn on /off. I have all kinds of headlights and caplights. This one is by far the best of the cap lights. Used the red light setting last night for the first time while ice fishing at night. It was a game changer. In the shelterI can see my slip bobbers in virtually total darkness, and it lasted the entire night with power to spare. I use the other caplights now only for backups.

Klarus lights = Quality!
Great quality "hands free" light with many useful features. The the different settings (bright, medium, low for the white light & two settings for red light) allow the user to customize the intensity of illumination for a variety of uses. I can use in my shop for mechanics on the high setting, or, use it hunting and put on the med. or low setting to get set in my blind in the dark hours. I love that the angle adjustment on the light allows me to get the perfect position of light without having to move my head up or down in order get the job done. It can be set for motion activation, which is really cool as just a slight wave of your hand will activate or deactivate the light. It seems well made, with the clips for the ballcaps robust enough for changing caps as needed. Since it fits on the underside of a ballcap, it is noticeable when not in use but doesn't obscure vision at all. A sweet feature is that you recharge this light with the provided USB-C cord, which is why it's so lightweight and unnoticeable. Quick charging and long lasting, this light has now replaced all of my older "headlights. Good price since Klarus is an established and we'll recognized company with a reputation for quality lights.

Bright, durable, rechargeable, and stays clamped to your hat.
I decided I needed a flashlight that would fit on my head so I could carry deliveries in the dark without fumbling with both the packages and a flashlight. But I always wear a baseball style hat, so the lights that strap directly to your head wouldn't do. Then I discovered the "cap lights". Perfect. I originally bought the the "LHOTSE Mini Hands Free Cree LED Clip on Cap Light" for about $12 because it had lots of good reviews and one of the lowest prices on Amazon. If my idea did not work out as I had hoped, at least I didn't pay too much for it. The cap light worked as I hoped it would. Very handy and helpful. Unfortunately it managed to fall off my cap without my noticing and I never saw it again. I wasn't too upset since I didn't pay much for it. But clearly the hat clip was not strong enough. And the workmanship was noticeably shoddy... the water resistant cover for the USB port never fit quite right. And it just seemed to be poorly engineered overall. So, since the idea for a cap light worked well, I decided to get a more expensive one that would hopefully be better designed and built. The "Klarus HC5 Tiny Hands-Free Clip on Hat Light with Charging Case" for about $23 was my next choice. Bingo! Right away I noticed that the device looked and felt more durable. The cover for the USB port fit perfectly (very important if you're going to wear it on your hat in the rain). The hat clip fits VERY securely... I have to pull it firmly off my hat because it isn't going to fall off on its own. And it comes with a portable recharging case. Charge up the case and you can pop the cap light into it and recharge the light without carrying a cord with you. Or you can plug the cap light directly into a USB port with the included cord. Your choice. The light only stays fully charged for about 6 hours, so this might be a problem for those who need to keep it turned on constantly for more than 6 hours. But I only need the light on when I step out of the car at night for a few minutes at a time. So the 6 hour limit is no problem for me. And the cap light is truly water resistant as advertised. I've been out in the rain with it several times and had no problems. Yes, it cost me twice as much as the popular cheaper light. But it isn't going to fall off my hat. And it isn't going to get water into the USB port due to poor engineering. It works well and looks like it will hold up to repeated use for some time. So, I'm happy with it.

nice lamp for runners or walkers
nice light for runners. clips securely on cap rim, but I would be a little careful about not moving it between caps very often, as this may eventually weaken the plastic clip. light brightness and features are all solid, including the motion detection. i can run comfortably without the glare and weight of a traditional headlamp with 3 AAA's.

Will buy again.
Great light. Clipped to my car visor as a backup cabin light and use the red output as a mood night light. A good product!

These lights are great for a number of reasons!
I have purchased a number of different visor type headlamps over the years but this one is by far the best! It is smaller than others I purchased recently for roughly the same price but at least as bright or brighter than the others and the battery lasts just as long if not longer yet it is also the smallest and lightest! I also find the buttons on these to be easier to operate than the others and I love the hands-free feature as well as the ability to select a red light that does not interfere with melatonin production in the evening! Another plus for these is that it does not cause a bright glow around the front of the light or on the visor like some other do. I found that so annoying that I had apply electrical tape to the front of two of the other lights in an attempt to reduce the distracting glow. I like this light so much that I bought a second one just in case I lose the first one or something and they stop selling these because I would not want to have to go back to any of the others I've used!

Excellent light and lightweight too
Excellent bright white light with a red light too. Clips onto a baseball cap easily and it’s so lightweight you can’t tell it’s there. You can also adjust the angle of the light which is a good feature. At the price It’s great value and so far can’t find anything not to like about it.
