can i order a specific radio frequency? if so, how?

My inventory is with amazon now. There is a tiny sticker at back of packaging box that indicating either 27mhz or 40 MHz. Please contact amazon customer support. They might be able to help you.

How long does the battery last

Unfortnuately, neither of the remote cars worked. So I cannot tell you what the battery life is

It goes pretty much as fast as any remote control car you could get at walmart.
