SEM 15393 Medium Gray Color Coat -12 oz.

Used this on the door panels of a 1994 F150 that were in pitiful shape. After fixing all the cracks and broken pieces/mounts, I sprayed them with the SEM adhesion promoter and the medium gray Color Coat. It was almost a perfect match. It went on easily and looks great. The only issue I've had was the coating tens to separate on the soft vinyl when it's been in the sun. I'm hoping that it is a curing issue that will resolve itself after I touch it up. I've used SEM products for years with no issues and TCP Global is great to work with. Highly recommend them.

This stuff is not like normal spray paint, it goes on like a stain and provides solid even color on the first coat. It is extremely thin, perfect for keeping the stock texture the same but bad for covering up scratches. Medium grey matched my other Ford interior parts well. The paint is durable and the only way you can even tell a part has been painted is that the finish is slightly rougher. Be sure to follow the instructions from SEM's website. It is essential that the part is perfectly clean. Any spot that is not will cause the paint to bubble and will leave a noticeably different texture after it dries. Thin coats are also important, as many as you want.

This was the closest match to GM color code 13D on my 96 C1500 and 98 Suburban. GM also called the trim color Med Gray. 88 to 94 GM trucks were a slightly lighter gray. This very closely matches the interior gray used in 95 to 99 Pickups, Tahoe's and Suburban's. The paint worked as advertised and had no problems with the spray clumping or being uneven. Coverage was clean and consistent. This paint has a fast dry time and is easy to use. As with all paint projects, prep is key. I removed all trim for the truck. I simply cleaned the part, in my case with a pressure washer and then a quickly wiped it down with acetone. Be careful using acetone as it can physically damage the plastic parts if exposed too long and don't get it on anything your not painting. Its only been a few months since I did the 96 pickup but so far it is holding up well.

We ordered this to change the color of some vinyl patio furniture. It covered well and made our 20 year old furniture look like new! After 2 months, still no chipping, peeling or fading!

Loved it. Did what it said it would do. After several weeks no fading and carpet looks great.

I've used SEM paint products many times and have never been disappointed. SEM 'Color Coat' I've used on vehicle interior vinyl and plastic a couple times with excellent results - 2 years later it's still going strong. If you need to match interior color, get an SEM color chart so you can do a side-by-side comparison between the chart color and the item you want to paint (rather than relying on the name of the paint color alone). Follow the SEM recommended preparation steps to paint and you'll likely be very pleased with the end result.

This is a perfect match for my 2006 BMW 325i's gray interior. I just prepped the handles by cleaning them, then masked off the buttons, handles, etc, and sprayed over the scratches. The color blended in very well, and 2-3 light coats are all that were needed. The coats completely dry in about 10 mins (possibly less). If the underlying old paint is not perfectly adhering to the surface, then the newly painted surface may bubble up. In that case, just strip the paint from the damaged surfaces completely and respray. The results are great - the spray is very focussed with a little bit of overspray, and each coats is light enough without drips, if you spray from a distance of 10 inches.

Sometime you gotta add more air with a rubber tip blow gun, but it lays down nice and blends well, idk if it's a thinner paint or what it's ....easier/better than regular spray paint, it's kind of forgiving, maybe thats why they cal lit dye instead of paint? i'd give it more stars if this wasn't 2/2 cans bought from 2 different sources that needed more added to get the second half the can to spray. Also hard to get SEM is sighting to new numbers and new product is harder to get for some local suppliers
