The case more securely fits around the phone because there is not a small piece on the end from which to slide on/off. The design includes two larger pieces that more securely come together in the middle. This also creates a smaller overall case length-wise that the other model I used. I have had the Diskin for several months now and its much easier to charge and is much better at continuing to charge the phone until is fully charged.
