I am only looking for an approximate value to make sure I am not drinking acidic water, so these work well for me. If you need a more accurate pH reading, these are not recommended. My one negative comment is that the plastic case which houses the strips is very difficult to open. It is a really tight fit and it sticks. I need to use a rubber glove to open it. Each time, I am afraid the case will go flying out of my hand and spill the test strips all over the floor. Heidi from Health Wise contacted me and found the 4.5 to 9 ph strips that I normally use. She is sending them to me as soon as amazon gets them. She is a great representative for Health Wise with her exceptional custemer service and making me one happy customer. If you have a dog with chronic utis and need to monitor their ph the strips that have a range from 4.5 to 9 are excellent and very precise. I highly recommend them. I like the ph strips from health wise that have a range from 4.5 to 9. They are much more precise. However I could not find them on the Amazon sight so I ordered these.
