Hunting Hang on Tree Stand

This was my first tree stand, and I'm thrilled with it. Super wide and comfy seat for long sits, always easy to set up, minimal noise with the quieting washers, and had endured from Sept to Dec in the elements without showing any wear and tear. Feels sturdy and locks in tight, even though I had a few sets in trees I probably should have passed on. Can't think of anything I'd want different in a hang on stand!

Love it!

So let's start off with pros and cons Pros: Very sturdy if straped correctly to the tree Easy to carry up tree with one hand if you have a linemens belt Cons: Looked like it was put together and returned but there wasn't any defaults or damage just some paint was scratched Over all I gave it a 5 star review because it was easy to transport with the muddy straps(bought separately) and it was kinda heavy but I'm young so it wasn't to heavy to carry. The seat is a mesh so not very much cushion but very sturdy and strong. But I would suggest buying q portable custom for long sits. Great support I had me and my bigger brother get on it to see how sturdy it was and we both could stand up and down without it budging. So overall 5 star review could ask for any better for the price of $84.

The Muddy The Boss XL Wide Stance Hang-On Tree Stand is a solid option for hunters looking for a spacious, comfortable stand without spending a premium price. Setup is straightforward and simple, allowing you to get the stand hung and ready to hunt with minimal hassle. One of the standout features is the wide platform. The extra room provides excellent footing and makes it much easier to shift your weight, stand for extended periods, or prepare for a shot. The platform offers great purchase for your boots and inspires confidence when climbing in and out of the stand. The stand performs exactly as advertised and feels sturdy once properly installed. The larger platform is especially appreciated during all-day sits or when hunting in bulky late-season clothing. My only real criticism is that it is a bit noisier than some higher-end hang-on stands. There can be some metallic noise during setup and movement if you’re not careful. That said, considering the price point, it’s a reasonable tradeoff. You get a lot of platform space and functionality for the money. What I appreciate most is the value. At this price point, I’m not afraid to leave it out season after season or even purchase another one for a different location when I want to expand my setup. It’s affordable enough that I don’t feel the need to baby it, yet dependable enough that I trust it when it’s time to climb in and hunt. Overall, the Muddy The Boss XL Wide Stance Hang-On Tree Stand delivers good value, easy setup, and a stable, roomy hunting platform. While it’s not the quietest stand on the market, it operates as advertised and offers plenty of performance for hunters who want a dependable stand without breaking the bank.

Solid stand. Add another ratchet strap to the lower section. The only one that came with it wasn't enough in my opinion. It's quite an solid. Seat is comfortable. The 2 cable's are a huge trip factor so be extra careful getting in an out of it. Mine is at 20 feet so falling isn't an option. I personally know people who have and ended up in the hospital. One guy died.

The mesh floor on the platform is only tack welded in a few places and is loose. Therefore it vibrates and rattles when you change foot positions. The mesh floor is "spongy', and flexes "A LOT" when not standing directly over the support frame. The quality of Muddy products has steadily gone down hill. THIS will be the last product I purchase from this company.

This stand is large , sturdy and easy to hang. I will be getting more.

Perfect for the Price, have no problem hunting out of it

I use mine for hunting sambar deer in Australia where I have it permanently fixed to a tree above a wallow. It seems to handle the elements well. It is comfortable to sit on for extended periods.

Previous version felt better now very thin mesh on the platform. You feel it move under weight and I'm not even 170lbs
