I would use it for gun air stuff-I use mineral based oil for all my air gun, tool, compressor stuff. I would use this for gun compressors but my gun compressor is that oil free box compressor. **Q: Is it full syenthetic?** A: I love this stuff!!! It's ice for my compressors. I do a few fills and drains to get a nice clean crankcase fill up. It looks, feels, behaves, smells like natural mineral oil with synthetic stuff.
