The Enchanted Map Oracle Cards: A 54-Card Oracle Deck for Love, Purpose, Healing, Magic, and Happiness

UPDATE: after airing out the cards, guidebook & box in another room overnight, smoking them out with incense, I found that I really love these cards. I have a few of Colette’s decks so I’m happy I’m able to use them. But to the printers of these cards, please please fix the overpowering chemical scent issue. This is the only deck I’ve ever had this scent issue with & I not only read but collect decks as well. These cards are a companion to a book that I have on pre-ordered now but you can also use them totally on their own very well & will give you the info you’re looking for. You don’t need the book, which I think is already out via kindle. I’m just a hands on old fashioned book kinda gal. If there’s a book that goes with an oracle deck, I always get the book because I love collecting them & they give more in-depth info on the very things I was drawn to in the first place! Anyway onto the cards! This is a very intriguing (in the best way) deck. Firstly, I absolutely love the artwork. It’s very beautiful art, in which each card’s art matches the tone of the message. There’s symbolism in the cards that correspond with the message so I really love that. I’m able to use this deck very intuitively. I often find hidden symbolism in the art I didn’t see before reading the message. Then I look again at the card & its meaning has fully opened up. The messages for each card’s art matches are deep & meaningful as well, as long as you’re willing to also do work within yourself. This deck challenges us, our thought patterns, negativity feedback loops & helps us break through those patterns & negativity. We can process traumas in a tangible way, which I think is very helpful along the journey of healing. The messaging has been very excited for the book to come next month! In the guidebook it explains exactly how to use this deck, which includes in your own intuitive way; you don’t have to be rigid in structure. We’re invited to spark our creativity to make our own spreads to use with this deck very intuitively. I’ve created custom spreads using this deck that have all given me (& whomever I’m reading for) accurate & meaningful messages that make total sense in a way we might not have seen before. As always, I’m a “take what I need & leave the rest” when it comes to advice. Meaning I take what applies to me. If it doesn’t apply to me, it doesn’t matter. So there is a card that seemed a little bit religious, but not in an aggressive way & I was able to interchange it with my practice, with the message of the card remaining intact. I also don’t find it to be a “toxic positivity deck”— I think it has a great handle on that balance. All in all, I recommend this deck to anyone, it’s a great oracle deck. The only issue is the print scent which is so overwhelming. This can be remedied by airing it out in a different area but it’d be nice to not have to do that. Other than that, spectacular deck with beautiful art & truly meaningful messaging, especially those on a journey of healing. ORIGINAL (old): It gets stars for the art that I’ll never be able to really look at because whatever ink they used to print these cards smells so awful. I’m one of those weirdos who absolutely loves the smell of a new deck. I always smell the guidebooks. But these can’t even be held for more than five seconds before putting them away. I’m super disappointed in these because I have to wait for the weather to be nice so these can’t air out. I’m afraid they’re bogus or something because the smell is that bad.

I do Recommend these cards especially if you’re contemplating purchasing them. I’m happy with my purchase and love the artwork and guidebook information. I’m really happy to have these as a resource.

Beautiful deck with gorgeous illustrations. One of my favorite decks !! I’m a tarot reader but I also buy affirmation cards and use them in my readings as well. Definitely worth having in your collection!!

I probably have a hundred or so decks in a list but this is one of the first oracles I decided to splurge on and I'm happy that I did. It seemed enticing, not only because I've seen so many people use them with such success, but also the dreamy images on the cards. Even though it doesn't appear to have a specific theme to concentrate on, it is so much more versatile and accurate than I could ever have imagined. Even without any tarot or other cards, I pulled three and it easily told my situation in each reading I did of two or three. The descriptions are very accurate despite being on the short side and without a single "keyword" so often seen on oracle cards beneath their main titles. Ordinarily I prefer keywords along with descriptions but this deck really doesn't need them. The images are so intuitive with the title that it's so clear to see what they're trying to tell you. You also have separate descriptions for reversals, which I don't usually do but may make an exception here. Not sure yet there but anyhow, definitely get your money's worth. As for the card stock, it's not bad. Not flimsy but not super high quality either. It is shiny, not matte, but not overly shiny and sleek which is nice.

I have been working with Colette's Oracle Cards since the first deck was released over 4 years ago. As a professional intuitive and coach, her two previous decks Wisdom of Avalon and Wisdom of the Hidden Realms are my "go to decks." I just received this latest deck from Colette Baron-Reid and I have to say that these are by far the most powerful deck I've ever used. Just the energy on them as soon as I opened them up was different. Once again, the Oracle Card Faery, that Colette is, has created a powerful tool for people to use to gain deeper insight into their lives. If you've read the Map or done work with Colette, you'll appreciate these even more! Like both of Colette's previous decks, the artwork is absolutely stunning. I happen to know that Colette works closely with the amazing artist, Jena Dellagrottaglia Maldonado, to create a set of cards that represent her vision of the symbols and messages that are to be included in each deck. This deck is quite possibly the most beautiful deck that Colette and Jena have produced to date. The messages of these cards, although deeply connected to her latest book The Enchanted Map of You as well as her In-Vizion process, stand alone in their powerful communication of universal concepts of personal and spiritual growth. The Reversed and Upright messages add both to the richness as well as the power of these cards. If you're looking for something unique and different to add to your intuitive toolkit, I highly recommend these Oracle Cards. I'm so excited to work with them with clients and will post an update as I do. I just love this deck! I own a few oracle card decks however this is my first deck from Colette Baron-Reid and I was not disappointed. knew I just had to have these cards the moment I saw them, they called out to me! lol they are just lovely to hold, look at and to work with. there is also an accompanying book to this deck, called 'the map' also by Colette Baron-Reid, which is available to purchase separately. You don't have to buy the book to understand and work with these cards (however I did and it does help in providing a greater insight into the meaning of the entire deck as well as the meanings into the 'lands' on each card). there is already a little accompanying guide book included with the deck to help you gain more insight into each card and also provides info on spreads you can do and reversals of the cards are also explained. some oracle decks do not include reversals as an option, this one does which I think adds more depth to the deck and each individual reading could contain 'challengers' as well as your 'allies'. The cards themselves are made of extremely good card stock and are edged in gold, giving a solid, strong and safe overall feel to the cards. The art work is just simply beautiful, I want to keep getting them out to look through them! lol The cards come in a very sturdy two piece box that I am confident will keep the deck safe and protected for a long time to come. This deck is made to be used with you intuition and it is easy to interpret each meaning from the picture and simple description on each card and the readings are spot on. I love this deck! I would highly recommend this deck to anyone who enjoys using oracle cards, appreciates quality and beautiful art work and is looking for insight and guidance on their journey along their individual 'map' of their life. I highly recommend them! xx
