Whoracle

Well i know why i buy an album... It's great, and to me it's like an eternal record from the most inspired times of the band ( which are far away now... ).

This would have to be my 2nd favorite album by In Flames next to "Clayman". My favorite songs from this album are "Gyroscope", "Episode 666", and "Everything Counts (Depeche Mode Cover)". This is definitely one of the better In Flames albums.

It's hard for me to objectively judge this album. While on one hand I was a little disappointed with this album, I realize on the other hand that if it weren't In Flames I would consider this awesome. Now, when I say I was disappointed, please don't get me wrong. This album is very good and any fan of melodic death who doesn't already own it is missing a key part of their collection. The songs Jotun, Gyroscope, and Jester Script Transfigured are all incredible. Jotun, especially, is one of my favorite metal songs period. The reason I give this album 4 stars is that, on Jester Race/BAI there are NO weak songs. Everything is good, except those songs which are great. On Clayman, there is only 1 weak song (in my opinion), but here there are songs that I skip when I listen to it. The Hive would be total filler if not for the guitar solo, Worlds Within the Margin is kinda blah, Whoracle is basically just an extro rather than an independent song, and Episode 666, while kinda catchy musically, has some of the most bland, redundant lyrics to be found on any In Flames track in existence. On the whole, this is very good, and even some of the tracks I disliked are popular amongst most In Flames fans, but in my opinion this record falls a little short of greatness.

このアルバムを作ったからこそCOLONYが出来たんだと思う!Voが一本調子と言う意見もあったがこのアルバムでは成長段階で次回作へのステップといった所の出来!でもいい曲は目白押し!このアルバムなくしてCOLONYはないでしょ?

Un classique remasterisé, un incontournable

Ho conosciuto gli In Flames grazie a questo spettacolare album, a mio parere simbolo mondiale del death metal melodico svedese... lo consiglio

Soy un enamorado del disco anterior "The jester Race". Pero todo lo que hicieron dentro del death melódico me parece fundamental para el estilo. Además luego sus discos más modernos por decirlo así te pueden gustar o no. A mi hay discos como el come clarity o el siren charms, me parecen buenos discos. No clásicos como los de su primera época pero disfrutables. Lo dicho, uno de sus mejores discos a un precio imbatible.

Persoonlijk vind ik dit het beste album van InFlames. Elk nummer is geweldig.
