Golds Gym Dumbbell Handle (Black)

Its a good set of dumbell bars, long as your not slamming it. With that said control is a must to keep them in well condition. You can add 100lbs on it, but you gotta have the right 10s to make all fit and have room to screw the seal in. Also there is no chemical smell.

Product is of good quality. Came in before expected time of arrival. Just one negative, it smells like engine oil that won't go away. Tried to clean it but still there. Still, deserve 5-star because they never claimed it would smell good.

These do what they are supposed to do; hold the weights. However, they came covered in some type of petrolium product and have continued to smell. I've washed them in soapy water, tried cornstarch etc to try to remove the odor. Ended up getting new ones.

Rubber on the handles, specifically the "lip" on either side of the grip, is tearing away, but it doesn't effect its use.

Nice dumbbell, I really like the grip
