If shipping were “prime” in the US, I would buy more! ### ⭐⭐ Defective cage Warning!! *by D***A on October 4, 2019* DEFECT: The horizontal bars are blocking the grooves at top of cage to latch and secure. I had no problem securing on sides of cage although, and bar does not interfere with latching and securing. Followed the instructions precisely and the picture of grates in instructions are very different than the actual grates. I will have to secure with zip ties in front and back of cage. MAJOR DEFECT: A hamster can push up and push on top and escape or possibly get injured. I would have given a four to five star rating because this cage is huge and spacious enough for my Syrian hamster to roam around. Unless I have managed to somehow not assemble the cage correctly, I will revise my review but as far as I see and others in my household have seen the finished product, I am unable to secure and latch with grates that were included in box. The safety of my hamster is more important than anything else. Also, since this cage was not available in the USA, it was shipped via Amazon international UK and I payed an EXHORBITANT amount. I was very pleased with packaging which was secured in plastic wrap on the inside. Box was not damaged and very sturdy.
