After caring for a foster dog with separation anxiety, my very nice crate was no longer secure. The dog bent the old door and broke the latch, trying to escape. He never got out of the crate, but the door was ruined. Worked great for a while, then top part of the latch broke...just like the previous one did. We're using it in spite of it being a pain to operate and don't put large or hyper dogs in the crate. It was very easy to install and works well. The only issue we've had is that our anxious dog is able to use his paws and teeth to pop the latch cover off and then works at the bars to break the latch altogether. Fortunately, it was pretty easy to reassemble, and I've since put some duct tape around the latch cover to prevent him from removing it. It works really well with the duct tape on it, and I was thrilled that a replacement door was available!
