Good, warm light which is ideal and look great. Not bright white which is what I wanted and lumins enough to light small seating area in the garden without needing another light source. Sellers pictures represent the product well. Extension cable is a valuable part of kit for setting up from remote power outlet. Simple to install. All arrived boxed and packaged really well - inclusion of foam lamp protection is better than expected and good to reuse for storage during winter. Value for money 5* for now as installed in good weather so not tested after rainfall. That said connections seem OK, solid - screw caps and gaskets fittings between strings. Will see how reliable they are over time and if the IP rating stands up to external use description after a summer shower. Fast & efficient delivery 5*

I was looking for some festoon lighting for my patio area and spent a LOT of time researching the huge range of options. Even though LED lighting is potentially more cost-effective in the long run and is possibly more sturdy, I specifically chose standard lighting due to the 'warmer' feel of the emitted light. These lights definitely give me everything I want, and I have to say that I am very impressed with the amount of light they actually produce which illuminates the entire seating area nicely. When I first switched them on I noticed that a few bulbs didn't appear to be working, but upon further inspection, it turned out that they were just loose and that screwing them in resolved the problem. This is by no means a fault with how they are assembled, I suspect that the way they are packaged plays a part. The packaging is really sturdy and holds everything in place securely for transit/posting, I suspect that in my excitement to unbox the lights that I simply partially unscrewed the bulbs myself! Would definitely recommend these, and the fact that they can be daisy-chained together means that I can add more if I want to. These lights will really make those summer nights feel extra cosy!

This product was perfect. Set up was simple and the extra 3m cable was the selling point that also worked well as i didn't want the lights to illuminate the patio area, just the fenced area. The packaging was well presented with foam to support the bulbs ( and spares ). All bulbs were working, though some just needed a turn to connect correctly ( so don't be fooled that one or two are not working ) Overall a really good product and perfect for those summer evenings. Ive also ordered a second set to extend the first. This was very simple as the end has a water proof connection. Just unscrew and attach new set and you have double the length with no issues ( another great reason to purchase these lights )

Excellent lights fitting to my gazebo. Gives out just the correct amount of light to give it a homely feeling in my patio area.

I bought one set to see if they were suitable and the next day I bought another two sets! The light given off by these lights is perfect for cosy evening in the garden. The image I’ve uploaded doesn’t really do them justice but you can see that they give off a lovely light. I particularly like the fact that you can connect additional sets together meaning you have one plug instead of three in our case. Also you get an extension lead which is useful as the initial plug to first bulb is a little short. I would highly recommend these lights to anyone. One thing to be aware of is that the bulbs get quite hot so don’t place them anywhere where they’re touching or very close to anything combustible, they do say this in the enclosed leaflet. A suggestion I would make it that they would be even better if the had an inline waterproof on and off switch.

I’m so impressed with these lights I’ve now just bought my third set to extend them in my garden. I didn’t really have high hopes when I bought my first set a few years ago, but they really have lasted brilliantly. By now I’ve had to, understandably, replace the bulbs, but it’s only been once for each, and that’s over a two or three year period. I’ve never had issues with the wiring, or joining parts, and they have been put to heavy use for around 6 or so hours every single night during that time (I have an outdoor cat enclosure that I like to keep well lit at nighttime so I can see what my pesky cats are up to!). They light up the space really nicely and the warm white of the bulbs is nice and not too harsh like the bright white can be. Really can’t fault them at all, and I’ve already recommended them to just about everyone I know!

Hi, I bought 3 sets of these lights. I went to put up two sets and before I took them out of the box I plugged them in and 4 bulbs in total did not work across the two sets of lights. Straight away I had to use 4 of the 6 spares provided in the two sets (3 spare bulbs per set). The lights have been up 2 days and 5 more bulbs are not working. At the current bulb attrition rate I will have no working bulbs by the end of November. 2 sets = 50 bulbs. I will have replaced 9 bulbs to get the lights working 100% again. A fully working string of 2 sets of lights will have taken 59 bulbs. This is very disappointing as these sets are not cheap. I will email the manufacturer to get a remedy for this. Update: I emailed the manufacturer/seller and got no response after 1 week. Then I noticed a hissing sound out of quite a few of the bulbs and one of them starting to smoke a little when I plugged them in. In summary I am returning the 3 sets I've bought. These are very flimsy and very delicate bulbs. I would not recommend.

I liked these lights because (i) they are connectable if you want to add more, (2) from the last light to the plug there is a decent amount of cable to reach the socket, I think around 3m, (3) the plug is the old-fashioned style, not moulded or anything fancy, so you can open it up with a screwdriver and disconnect the wires which allowed me to thread it into my shed (where the socket is) through a small hole in the wall. Maybe they need to be a little brighter for my use and they aren't dimmable, but each use will vary. Good value, they come with spare bulbs which is a good touch. I combined with a quinetic radio switch so now I can turn these lights (festooned around shed roof) on and off from inside the house with no wiring needed!
