I have long, very naturally curly hair but I prefer to wear it straight. Unfortunately that means having to use a flat iron almost every day. All of us ladies know that styling our hair with heat on a regular basis can do some damage. And since my hair is naturally curly, frizz is almost inevitable when it's humid. However, about 11 or 12 years ago I was introduced to the Biosilk line and have been a faithful user and believer ever since. This Biosilk Silk Therapy serum works miracles if your hair is dry, dull or is prone to frizz. The serum truly does feel like silk on your hands and it has a very pleasant smell too. When it's applied to the hair, you can turn any bad hair day into a great one. All dryness is gone, fly-a-ways disappear and humidity no longer causes an unruly poof to appear. It also appears to dramatically lessen the damage and protect from heat styling because considering how much I use my flat iron, you'd never know it when looking at or feeling my hair and I fully credit this silk therapy serum. One thing that's very important to add is that it does not take much of this serum to achieve those results. In fact, it takes very little (for me just a dime sized amount or less in the palm of my hand) and if too much is used, it will cause a dirty or oily appearance. So if you're using this serum for the first time I recommend putting a tiny dab in the palm of your hand, work that into the hair and gradually add more if needed to find that perfect amount for you. That's one of the things I love about this serum - one bottle can last quite awhile since it doesn't take much to achieve that silky feel and appearance, so you get a lot of bang for your buck. Also, I have well water and I've found that it really helps do away with much of the dryness associated with having too much iron in the water. I'd imagine that it would help those with chemicals like chlorine (etc) from city water too. Even after using this product for 11 or 12 years, I've never found anything better. They gave it the perfect name "Silk Therapy" because that's exactly what it makes your hair feel like. By the way, this is also a great product for dry skin - it's gentle too so it's possible that even people with sensitive skin will have no problem using it. So now your hair and your skin can feel like silk and have a beautiful smell as a bonus! I would definitely recommend giving it a try and maybe you'd love it as much as I do. The picture shows shampoo. The title says Cure. Not sure what you're buying here, but when I purchased, it was shampoo. I have used all three products: shampoo, conditioner, Cure. Since some reviewers have claimed to receive fake products, I no longer purchase online, only in local shops. This is my review: I started using Silk Therapy Serum many years ago after one hairdresser used it on my hair. It’s expensive, but so worth it. My hair is long, thick, and wavy in a very unmanageable way. It used to be silky and strawberry blond, but as I’ve aged the color has dulled so I highlight it. That has caused a texture change and my hair is more like cotton than silk. I’ve longed for the silky hair of my youth, but it had eluded me for decades. After seeing a commercial for L’Oreal Elvive Total Repair 5 I started using the shampoo, conditioner and Protein Recharge. Honestly, my hair hadn’t looked that good in years. I love it. I also put the Biosilk Silk Therapy Cure Serum on my misbehaving ends and it helps tame them into submission. Somewhere along the way, I decided to buy the Biosilk Shampoo. I tried it, but was annoyed at two things. First, it seems that I needed twice the amount of shampoo I normally use, and two, it took a ton of strength to squeeze the shampoo out of the bottle. Very irritating. So mostly the bottle just sat under the cupboard. Until recently. I needed more Serum, and I ended up purchasing a set that included the shampoo & conditioner with the serum, so I decided to try all three products together and see the results. I was truly impressed. The conditioner made the difference. My hair was the silkiest I’ve ever seen. It was cool to see my hair look like the silky, flowing hair of models on TV. (I blow-dry my hair over a large round brush.) But the one thing I didn’t like is how flat my hair was compared to the fullness I get from the L’Oreal Elvive. The results are very similar. Both make my hair silky and manageable, but the BioSilk may have the edge there, but the L’Oreal gives me the fullness I need and want. I’ll probably use L’Oreal most of the time (with the Silk Therapy Serum on the ends), and use the Biosilk products on special occasions when I don’t care if I have thin-looking hair until my next wash. I now buy locally to ensure I am getting a genuine product.

I cannot say enough good things about this product. BioSilk Silk Therapy can make the most damaged hair feel silky smooth. And it's great for tangled and knotted hair. It only takes a small amount. You definitely don't want to apply too much, because it will make your hair oily. And there's a little bonus. Once you've finished applying it to your hair, rub your hands together like you do with a lotion. It will make them soft as well.

argan oil was always way too heavy for my hair so i decided to give this a try again as i used to use it years ago and i dont regret buying this. my thick frizzy hair is SO silky when i use this!
