Yarn Sewing Needles

These needles have been perfect for stitching my yarn crafts together. I have steel needles but they do not offer the bit of flexibility that is sometimes needed. These plastic needles have a very large eye and are the perfect length. They are easy to use and make things easier to stich.

Is does the trick. Great for sweater repairs and more.

This set of 2 plastic yarn needles is perfect for weaving in those loose yarns in your knitting and crocheting projects. Anyone who’s worked on a project with multiple color changes will appreciate the ease of ‘hiding’ those loose yarn ends with these plastic needles. Easy to use, flexibility of a plastic vs metal needle, and performs the job well.

So, the quality of the needles is fine... but they are KNOT KIDDING when they say the yarn needles are large! I thought I was getting a standard size yarn needle when I ordered them, but oh my god, no. See photo for size comparison with a standard blue yarn needle like you can get at any craft store. I tried these on a worsted weight project to weave in the ends and was disappointed at how difficult it was to get the eye of the needle through my crochet project. In a nutshell, here's my review: Colors: LOVE! Sturdiness: Good! Length: Unwieldy Size: TOO DANG BIG So, if you do a lot of bulky weight or super bulky yarn projects, these may be the yarn needles for you! They will probably not see a lot of use from me, alas, but it's more work to return them than keep them, and I'm out less than two bucks, so it's not a big deal. I just wish they made these in standard size, because the colors are perfect and I love them so much! Oh well... to the bottom of the craft bag with thee.

These work great amazing value

Some of the lower quality plastic ones break, but these are sturdy. I don't end up buying more because they break. I end up buying more because I give them away or lose them. They're pointy enough to weave in ends no issue or sew pieces together, but not so much so as to inadvertantly split the yarn. They're also dull enough I can stick them in my bag and not have a needle point poking out when I'm walking down the street. I had a metal needle do that once, and I got some funny stared on the NYC subway. These stay fully in the bag. They're a constant in my knitting and crochetting bags.

I tried to use these for crochet stitch to sew in ends. The eyes of the needle was too big to get through my stitching. It stretched everything out when I even attempted to pass it through. I don't knit, maybe it works better for those types of stitching but I ended up throwing mine away because I can't use them. Plastic is sturdy and didn't bend easily like some needles I've gotten.
