iDesign Divided Storage Bin with Handle for Pantry, Fridge, or Freezer, Clear, Made in USA

I've tried different methods for organizing my fridge over the years, but it turns out that for my older-type fridge, at least, this is really the best option. It keeps things visible, easily moved (pull out the organizer once, instead of moving a dozen items around to get to the back!), and makes clean-up a breeze! For some context, I have a smaller, older fridge with the freezer on top. The top interior shelf of the fridge has the light and temperature control right in the center, so that shelf really only holds shorter items on either side of the center "console". The middle shelf has one drawer above it, and the bottom shelf has two crisper-type drawers below it. Due to the limited space on the top and middle shelves, I needed a container with lower sides. This one meets that criteria. I also love that it has the divider in the middle so that smaller items stay put, even when it's not full. In my fridge size, I can fit two of these across with a little wiggle room between and on the sides. I'm currently using three of these, although one is a slightly older model. I use one on the top shelf - and may get a fourth for the other side of the top shelf. Then I have two on the middle shelf. The lowest shelf of the fridge I use for storing taller items like milk as well as leftovers containers, so I leave that open to accommodate large and variable-sized items. In the top shelf container, I've put sauces, jellies, and flour / grains that I store in the fridge. In the middle shelf container, I use one side for eggs and the other side for snacks, and the other container holds fruit and smoothie add-ins (like flaxseed and chia seeds), so that I can just pull out the organizer to make smoothies, then put it all right back into the fridge. I've found that these allow me to store about 10% more than I was able to with the dollar store containers they've replaced. Also, the dollar store containers were opaque, so I often forgot what was inside them, and it would go bad before I could use it. Because these are clear, I can easily see everything that's inside them, and the middle divider helps keep the items upright, like a mini file cabinet for the fridge! They reduce the amount of time and effort in shuffling stuff around to get to items in the back. And bonus: if something spills, I just have to clean the organizer instead of the entire shelf! (I tried that Pinterest hack where you wrap the fridge shelves in cling wrap, and not only did that NOT work, but it was a nightmare to get it on and off when there was a spill!)

I buy a lot of vegetables and my crisper drawers won’t hold them all, so I have to store produce on the bottom shelf as well. The problem was my herbs and lettuces would get crushed or vegetables that faced the bottom back would freeze plus I could never see what was back there and I was always digging thru stuff to find what I was looking for. These bins are the answer and I love them. They are sturdy & the handle makes it easy to slide them out just like a drawer. The dividers allow you to keep things orderly and the height is perfect, allowing you to reach in and grab something without pulling the drawer out. Large enough to hold those bulky items and provides a barrier to the vent in the back so no more frozen veggies.

Awesome bins. Use them to store my stamp sets. Can fit about 150 clear stamp sets in one bin. They fit in the Kallax cube perfectly.

I just received this InterDesign storage bin yesterday, along with the InterDesign 21 egg holder and the smaller 8-inch by 4-inch InterDesign storage bin from Amazon. This review is just for the large divided bin. I have posted separate favorable reviews for the egg holder and smaller bin. All I can say is, why did I wait so long to buy them! I have a love-hate relationship with my French door refrigerator because it is not easy for me to reach bottles, jars, etc. on the higher, deeper shelves. This bin has solved that problem. The storage bin is attractive and appears to be very sturdy. It has a divider, which helps with the organizing, and keeping everything in its place. I was able to fill it and then lift it on to the shelf with no problem. Oh okay, my husband lifted it on to the shelf for me. :) No more removing bottles or jars before finding what I need hiding in the back of the fridge! You won't regret buying them. Just make sure to measure your shelves first. The measurements stated for the InterDesign containers are accurate.

I bought these to store my dies and clear stamps. They are very sturdy and they fit perfectly in my Ikea Kallax cubes. I like that they use almost the entire space of one cube. I hate wasting space. However, both of my containers have blemishes on them. I wondered if they were used and returned. I washed them and cleaned them with window cleaner but the "marks/scratches" were still present. The price point was good, otherwise, I would have returned them. Things like this drive me crazy. I want something to look new when I buy it. I didn't want to hassle with a return so I kept them. If they didn't have these "marks/scratches" I would have given these containers 5 stars!

I have a somewhat sad, 20 year old, 15 cubic foot refrigerator that came with my apartment. It seems to be functioning beautifully (no issues with it), but I'm not thrilled with the storage factor. I purchased two of these little bins to put on top of my crisper cover. What a difference it has made! The idea of a two sided bin is ingenious. One of the bin is being used for apples/oranges & lemons/limes. The other bin holds my soda cans on one side, and i use the other for fresh herbs, etc. But really you are only limited by your imagination. I'm sure it would work equally well for yogurt, sour cream, ricotta cheese, regular cheese, spinach, sweet peppers, lettuce, cucumbers... well, you get the idea. I will likely be ordering two more for my fridge, and maybe another one for my freezer shelf. Well worth the investment and I can't wait to have a fully organized refrigerator. Maybe it won't be quite so sad anymore.

I absolutely love these! I will admit though that I don’t use them in my refrigerator. Instead I use them in my craft room. They’re almost perfect to fit in my Kallax and do a wonderful job holding my cling stamp sets. I will definitely be buying more!
