American Weigh Scales 100G X 0.01G Digital Scale, With Seaside 100 G Stainless Steel Calibration Weight

Very nice little unit. I purchased mine to weigh small batches of liquid plastic resin and hardener, where the tolerances get down to .05 gram. This scale has performed well. All of my batches have cured perfectly, indicating my measuring ratios were correct. A couple of things that are helpful to remember is that when adding and removing tiny amount of material to get your measurement just right, you need to gently tap the scale with your finger from time to time just to let it know you are still working on things so that it will not auto power off. Also, if you add or remove a small bit of material and notice that (like a lot of scales) the scale reading does not change, simply tap the scale with your finger to jog it into taking another reading. The included weight was a nice bonus and the calibration instructions are right on the inner surface of the protective cover and easy to follow.

Works perfectly and accurately. The scale is of excellent quality, especially for such a competetive price. I recommend the scale but am unsure and skeptical of the 100g calibration weight. I have never been able to get the scale to weigh the calibration weight at 100 g but every other dependable calibration weight or item has registered to be completely accurate on the scale. Love the scale and recommend it highly...just make sure you calibrate accurately and check with other reliable weight sources.

Great product. However, you MUST calibrate scale upon arrival AND it can only be calibrated with a 100 gram weight. Very simple to do and the instructions are on the lid. If you buy one of these pocket scales without the 100 gram weight, then you will not be able to calibrate and the readings will not be accurate. After calibration I tested this scale with a known 5 gram weight and the included 100 gram weight, both showed 100% accurate readings. In fact, I could not get the scale to be off by 0.01 gram even after several attempts. This scale is spot on when it comes to grams. I have not tested accuracy for oz, grain or ct weight.

It's difficult to understand how they can manufacture something like this, for this price, including a calibration weight. Mine works just fine for weighing tiny quantities of yeast and spices. It's easy to use and measures to 100th of a gram, well beyond any level of accuracy I might ever need. Five stars for value, and nothing to complain about. There are a number of negative reviews that say the scale has a "FULL" problem at some point after a few months use. The seller seems to be standing behind the product and offering help. It would be good if the seller would just "Comment" what the user available fix is (something omitted in the user manual?) and if there is no user fix, what the problem resolution is that they're offering to those who have experienced this problem thus far. Thus far, mine is working fine.

A great little scale, which stays accurate thanks to the calibration weight. It is very easy to use. On;y reason it got 4 instead of 5 stars is that the batteries shipped with it (which had some odd & somewhat humorous brand name... that now escapes me) were DoA. I'd read from other reviewers that this had happened (though I cannot find those reviews any longer, which is strange) so I was prepared with my own batteries.

Love it, just wish there was a weigh to set it to ml instead of just g. (see what I did there?) (edit: 1 g: 1 ml. You metric people probably already know this, so for us Imperial system people, this can be used for ml as well) I knew this when I purchased it so it's not a big deal. Not sure if its listed in the "package includes" but this does come with batteries and a little plastic tab that you have to pull out before it will turn on. Easy calibration instructions.

Works great for mixing powder for my dog's joint supplements.

Amazing for the price, it's usually accurate to within 0.01, though sometimes it'll vary by as much as 0.03 grams, presumably temperature and where the weight is placed has an effect. Anyways, I'm very happy with it's ease of use, accuracy, and price point.

Bought these for weighing my yeast for pizza and they are great. Well worth the wait in buying from Amazon global store.

Total bait and switch on this scale. I ordered the AWS and a third party scale of poor build quality showed up. A 100 gram weight was supposed to be included but it did not show up. Not happy and will be returning this
