Hollow Knight (Nintendo Switch)

The game is a bit difficult, but it’s a high-quality game. Graphics are good. I don’t want to comment on value for money because obviously new games are much more expensive than older ones and idk when this will be read or what the price will be by then, but this is a solid game. The graphics are good, the story is as well, but this is NOT an easy game. Without guides, inexperienced or younger players may find themselves quickly frustrated. As of right now, it is solid value given what a good game it is.

My son LOVES this game. He's had it for over a year now and enjoys playing it even after beating it. As a parent, I will say that the music for this game is really well done and I don't mind listening to it. My son even seeks out fan songs created based upon the game's music. From a non-gamer's perspective (me), I've been informed that this game has fantastic graphics and excellent gameplay. It's apparently a cult favorite among gamers and the gaming world has waited YEARS for the sequel to come out. He has also bought the sequel as well and loves both games equally well. The graphics themselves aren't excessively gory or bloody as well, which I appreciate for multiple reasons.

Fun game. Not too difficult, but enough to make it challenging. Only had it for a day so far. Graphics are nice and sound effects are good. Bosses are decent difficulty.

Hollow Knight is one of those games that just pulls you in. The world is gorgeous, a little spooky, and full of secrets that make exploring super addictive. The combat feels great challenging in a way that makes you want to try “just one more time.” Every area has its own vibe, and the soundtrack ties it all together perfectly. If you like adventure games that reward curiosity and skill, this one’s an easy pick.

Look, this is a beautiful game. Beautiful art, soundtrack, tragically beautiful story. It is difficult, especially if you're trying to get certain endings, but it's not impossible! It will give you a challenge in some of the combat bosses, but you just need to learn their patterns, and you'll be good. I love the background characters and their storylines. I just really love this game. I bought this copy as a gift for a coworker to get him hooked.

Such a fun game! Great platformer and even my littler sister who never plays video games will play it. Really exciting game.
