OWell Microlet Lancing Device, 3 Pack + 40 O'WELL Lancets & Lancing Device

The lance pens are easy to use, they don’t hurt, you barely feel the prick. What I love is the lever on the side that allows you to shoot out the actual lancets making it safer. I actually received 4 pens, I thought I was only getting 3 so that was an unexpected surprise, making the price a great deal!

Very much impressed with the contents that was inclused with the poduct. An extra lancet device was included. Product was delivered before the estimated date cited online. The lancet device is easy to use and when I prick my finger with the device, there is little or no pain. Great product. It has a dial so that you can select the depth of the puncture for the blood in your finger.

Both types of OWell Lancing Devices included in the package - namely, 3 black ones usually shipped with Ascencia Contour Next and 1 white device that is usually shipped with Auvon and CareSens - are working very smoothly and precisely. A great package for a very reasonable price!

These are not the sturdiest or best made devices that I've seen, but at the end of the day 1. Affordable 2. They work and provide a finger prick and a drop of blood 3. Adjustable. I'm not convinced that these will last a long time, but let's face it, at this price if you get a couple months out of each one it's worth the investment.

Last year my Bayer meter's "poker" broke. It was almost impossible to find a new one - I literately had to buy a whole new meter to get a poker that didn't cost more than the strips themselves! Well, when the same model poker started to show signs of breaking (at that price I expect it to last longer than a few months) I looked and found these. I get 3 for less than ONE Bayer one. The big bonus is the needle ejection slider. I didn't even find it early on - by accident I found that just sliding the long thin blue "handle" ejects the needle out of the unit so you can insert the new one. Easy, fast and no chance of breaking anything. I actually look forward to changing the needle now as it's so easy! No accidental poking of fingers trying to yank out the old needle! So have a spare - have TWO - and envoy a simple compact "poker".

I seldom post reviews, but this item warranted one. My only regret with this purchase is that I didn't make it months ago! I must use a certain meter - which I really like actually - for insurance purposes, but the included lancing device had me dreading every blood check. Ditto other ones I bought from a big box store. This one, however, is easy to set up and use - so glad I don't have to get out my reading glasses to see what depth it's at! - and is pretty much painless. Knowing what I know now, I would have paid the same price for just one lancing device, but this item not only came with THREE but also amply lances as well. (And the lances from my previous device work it in as well.) Very, very happy with purchase.
