Only worked on the 3rd Android phone I tried. Bought this for time lapse. Plugged in a camera (eos90d) and it does not trip the shutter. Head moves , but then app freezes and you have to change modes and back to time lapse. Help function does not work. 'Manual' gives zero info (not even indication of which of the 3mm plugs to use for the camera) - all trial, error, hit and miss ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Strong slider for your photography projects *by N***K on November 25, 2019* The media could not be loaded. I can not say enough about how pleased I am with this slider! The build quality is incredibly sturdy, from the carbon fiber booms to the thumb screws for the adjustable feet and the smoothness of the gearing mechanism. A very simple unit to use, either hand operated by the flywheel or using the app controlled motor, it's easy to get excellent results. You will need to add your own mounting solution to hold your camera, but the standard 1/4 inch screw mount will accept any ball head, fluid head or other standard photography mounting system.Once set up, the app (provided by Ashanks) is pretty intuitive, allowing you to control starting and stopping points, speed of travel and how quickly the motor starts or stops. The motor is strong enough to pull the camera up a reasonable incline, so whether you adjust the legs independently for an incline, prop the slider against something, or use the mounting plate on the underside to mount to a tripod, you'll be able to pull off stunning movement for video shots, or hyperlapse photography. The included padded zipper case is perfectly suited for transport or storage, and has plenty of room and individual slots for all of the components.
