works OK for me
This board works as expected for me and having the pre-made board available for order saved me a lot of time doing not-very-interesting prototype construction, and let me get right to the design work. This is not really an electronic beginner project, you should be able to use a datasheet, and know what a lock-in amplifier is and how it works.

It's not a product that is ready to use
I must admit to start off, that I am an amateur. I ordered this product for a home science experiment. This type of product (not the specific brand or item) was recommended by a physicist with whom I had a discussion about the experiment. The problem comes in that there are no instructions that can help you determine exactly how to utilize this product with whatever device is planned for connection. I emailed the company and requested detailed information about how I might use this product. I was sent a a schematic of the board and chip. It was not helpful. If I was an expert, this product might be helpful, but without detailed support available, it is not valuable at all.
