Dr. Scholl's Shoes Women's Webster Loafer, Comfortable Platform Loafers

Love this shoe! I have purchased 3 times, in 3 different size varieties. I am a Sales and Event Manager in a fine dining, high volume restaurant. The majority of my day is spent in front of my computer but multiple times a week, I’m running through our kitchen or pushing and shoving tables and chairs around to see if a specific setup can work. I’ve been wearing these since 2022. They look classy as hell and I feel like they’re good to my feet, my feet don’t hurt, nor does my bunion or high arches. I am a 8-8.5. Recently my podiatrist told me due to my bunion (thanks high heel from early 2000’s!) I should not be wearing any shoe with a narrow toe box. Here’s my take on the sizes I’ve owned in this specific shoe: Bought in 2021, size 8 regular: Fit great, a tad snug at first but caused no discomfort. They actually stretched out within a few days. And needed up fitting perfectly and were some comfy, classy ass kickers. This pair was awesome for a year. Was time to replace Bought in 2022, size 9 regular: Figured the 8 was a tad snug, and the size 9 was on sale about $20 cheaper, and recovering financially from the pandemic and I said yup $20 cheaper let go and pulled the trigger. They were fine, weren’t tight at all like my first pair, but felt sloppy on me/to me like I looked like Ronald McDonald. All good still wore them, still have them as a back up. No doubt of comfort, just really comfortable shoes. Bought in 2023, size 8 wide: This was/ is a really wide shoe. Weird because I feel like everyone that’s reviewed says not wide enough. It is plenty wide for me. Too wide, enough so that the shoe just fits weird and loose. Won’t return, just another back up. I can wear them but feel like my feet look dumpy. I just ordered a size 8 regular again today. If they’re a tad tight, I’ll pop on my shoe stretcher as I know these are stretchable. I wear these 5 days a week, and only need to replace them once a year. Yes, please! They’re comfortable, stylish and can match almost any business casual outfit… I have put these shoes through physical situations and my feet always feel comfortable coming out on top. Wish the sole was a bit more durable, but for the weight ( actually weightlessness) of this shoe and the comfort, I’m more than happy to purchase over and over. The key is to finding the right size and width for you…. They’re my go to ass kickers whether in a suit, dress or slacks!

This is one review that I MUST write. This pair of shoes are the most comfortable I have had in a very long time. I am a sneakers lady who has been ridding myself of all hard shoes as I age. The soles and heels are super comfortable. Even though not spongy, the heels are a hard rubber and just right. I wish they had in other nicer colors. I purchased the black patent leather and they feel and look like a million bucks, really high class and well made shoe. I am deeply satisfied and I think I will order another pair as a back-up

These shoes are so classy and classic. They can be dressed up or down. I had to exchange for a half size bigger because I have very wide feet and they were snug but they are very true to size. I could have kept the 8 wide because I'm sure they would stretch a little bit I choose comfort. They look very durable and they have great cushioning. I can't wait to get the exchange tomorrow. Alright. I've got a 6 1/2 foot with arch so narrow shoes can be painful, but wide shoes often stretch out over time and lose their shape and look shabby. I stick to standard shoes and hope it works out. Well, I bought a 6 1/2 standard and it looks lovely, sleek, and because of the rubber height addition, has heck of a bounce when you walk. So far I'm head over heels with this shoe. The real test will be to see if it stands the test of time walking from the parking garage to the office daily. Honestly, these are stylish enough I could wear them at the office or out casually with Jeans. I really hope they last. Please last. I'll do my best to update if they don't make it past the 6 month mark. Update: I wore than for about 5 hours of straight walking and my feet were pretty sore after. The bounce really was great but there is little to no arch support adding it makes the shoe quite painful. Even without the arch support the back of the shoe rubbed my heel. Not enough to cause a blister but enough that I was limping a bit after I removed them. Same with top of my foot on the edges of the shoe. Maybe they just require break-in? Will keep trying.

Well the shoes were fabulous BUT the ones that arrived would have fit my brother. It is really the only problem I have had with amazon in 12 years.

Comfy beautiful shoe. Felt a bit snug on first try, so just used at home for a day and it now fits perfectly.
